Lil Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow's label Generation Now claims they're two of rap's future big three.

In an interview with Spotify's Rap Caviar Podcast with Brandon Jinx, which premiered on Thursday (March 16), Generation Now co-founder Lake boldly claimed that Lil Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow are two of rap's future big three.

When Jinx asked Generation Now co-founders Lake, DJ Drama and Don Cannon if there would ever be another big three in rap—like Drake, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole—they collectively agreed that there will be more of them in the future.

"I'm not saying this to sound too confident, but honestly, I feel like we've got two of the guys that could be the [big three]," said Lake in the video below. "Just being real. I think they have the potential to be here."

"When we look up, in a few minutes, Uzi will be around for 10 years, quietly," he continued. "Quietly, you know. Quietly, Uzi will be here for 10 years. And as you can see he's ever-evolving and pushing the boundaries with the sound each time so he has potential."

"I think Jack..he has the potential to be out of this world. We got some new artists that are coming up," he added. "Like we have the potential I think, honestly, to have three of the three. I'm not going to go too far. But it is what it is."

When Jinx as the three men what made them signed Uzi and Jack to their label, Don Cannon said it was their lyrical abilities.

"They were both rappers," he stated. "They both had lyrics. Us being real music fans and hip-hop fans, I think the first thing we gravitate to was they were able to actually rap. That's the bottom line. Everything else after that comes second. Can they really rap?"

"Lyricism, in my opinion, when it comes to hip-hop, it always going to matter," added DJ Drama.

Lake added, "I had an argument about Uzi all the time. Everybody think he just goes out there and make noises, when it comes down to it, the boy can freestyle for 10 minutes straight. Straight up, Jack can rap his ass off, like literally rap his ass off."

In the end, Generation Now founders are confident that Lil Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow got next.

XXXTentacion's estate has released a new song that features the late rapper collaborating with Lil Uzi Vert.

On Monday (Jan. 23), XXXTentacion's new track "I'm Not Human" dropped featuring Lil Uzi Vert. The song was released on what would have been his 25th birthday. Produced by John Cunningham, X's longtime collaborator, the acoustic-driven ballad offers sentimental lyrics from both XXXTentacion and Uzi Vert.

Before releasing the song, an announcement was made on X’s official Instagram. "A gift from Jah," read a message. "Thank you #liluzi."

It's unclear when Uzi recorded his verses for the song. In the past, the Philadelphia rapper was hesitant about appearing on a posthumous song with the late Florida rhymer.

"He called me one time when he was incarcerated a long time ago and I was going onstage—I was on tour with the Weeknd—he called me and he actually rapped a song for me that he never laid, and it was really good," Uzi told Twitch personality Adin Ross on his livestream in November 2021. "I would love to do a song with him but I’m really weird on stuff like that. Don’t get me wrong, it took me really long to do that before with another artist."

"I understand that they’re not here living, and what if that’s not the vision that they really want?" he continued. "Especially if they really fucked with me, like, what if that’s all wrong? I’ll be pissed off if they did it all wrong because I’m not here, but you know, if it works out, it works out."

Well, it must have worked out.

Check Out the Lyrics to XXXTentaciono's New Single "I'm Not Human" Featuring Lil Uzi Vert Below

INTRO (XXXTentacion):

Do not— mm, mm
Mm-mm, mm, mm

VERSE 1 (XXXTentacion):

Bury all your secrets in my skin
Come away with innocence
And leave me with my sins
Air around me feels just like a cage
Love is just a camouflage for what resembles rage

CHORUS (XXXTentacion):

Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human

VERSE 2 (Lil Uzi Vert and Both):

Let all your secrets in my skin (Oh, yeah)
I won't even tell my best of friends (Shh)
I know that I'm not from this earth
And I know deep down you are hurt, but
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I wanna be on my own planet
I wanna be more than a has-been
'Cause I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a— woah
I feel like I need to find my homе
I feel like I'm just some kind of my own
I'm a translucent, wholе different movement
I keep on chasin' you, I am just stupid
Yeah, and I'm not a human (I'm not a human)
And I'm not a human being
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human

CHORUS (XXXTentacion, Lil Uzi Vert and Both):

Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human (Oh-oh-oh)

VERSE 3 (Lil Uzi Vert):

Lay you down when you go to sleep
And wipe your eyes every time you weep, oh
Tell you that life is not that deep
Paintin' pictures that I'm a freak, but I'm not a human
I'm tired of losin', inflicting my bruises, humans are users
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human (Woah)

CHORUS (XXXTentacion):
Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human

Lil Uzi Vert and JT are reportedly no longer a couple, according to a tweet from the City Girls member yesterday.

On Tuesday (Nov. 22), JT tweeted, "SINGLE!," surprising her fans as well as those of Uzi.

Their loyal supporters were taken aback by the news they seemingly parted ways.

"You breaking up with Uzi means you breaking up with his fans and we don’t like that," one Twitter user wrote.

"No way you and Uzi are done," another added.

Earlier this year, Lil Uzi Vert revealed that JT broke up with him after a tweet from 2015 resurfaced in which he was sharing his feelings for another woman. This was long before Uzi and JT were an item.

"Jt broke up with me over this dumb ass shit I don’t even do nothin FML," Uzi tweeted in a since-deleted post.

The two rappers have shared the ups and downs of their relationship on social media over the last year. From birthdays to breakups, they haven't held back from giving fans a peek at what goes on between them. During JT's interview on the Caresha Please podcast this past August, she revealed how Uzi pays all the bills in their relationship.

"Uzi literally would do any and everything for me," she shared. "But I don’t flex it no mo'. We live together, he pay all the bills. I don’t pay a bill. I don’t even know what the first of the month is. Like that's real City Girl shit. Like I don’t pay a bill. I'm put up. Because bitch, who doin’ that?"

Lil Uzi Vert and JT have been dating publicly since March of last year when Uzi tweeted that JT is "the one."

Following reports that Lil Uzi Vert allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Byrd, last week, Brittany has spoken out via social media.

On Wednesday (July 7), Uzi's former longtime girlfriend tweeted, "Don’t y’all say protect black women right? I’m a black woman." You can see the tweet below.

Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, additional claims surfaced on the internet in connection to the physical altercation between Brittany Byrd, Lil Uzi Vert and SAINt JHN in Los Angeles' West Hollywood area on July 2.

Brittany's manager, Brianna, whose last name was not reported, told The Shade Room that Uzi assaulted his ex, leaving her injured and requiring medical attention. The manager went on to say that her client was having a midday meeting with SAINt JHN and director Jeymes Samuel at Dialog Cafe, near Sunset Blvd., around 12 p.m. on July 2 when Lil Uzi arrived in a Cadillac Escalade and hopped out to confront Byrd.

The Philadelphia rapper allegedly punched Byrd in the face several times and pointed a gun at her chest before leaving the scene, the manager said. The report also noted that SAINt JHN wasn't involved in the incident, opposed to what prior reports claimed.

Initially, TMZ published an article, which claimed that Uzi and SAINt JHN got into an altercation at the Dialog Cafe and Uzi allegedly threw a punch at JHN, which didn't land. Lil Uzi then reportedly fell to the ground and a gun fell from on him. Brittany supposedly removed herself from the table that she, SAINt JHN and others were sitting at. At that point, Uzi allegedly put a gun to her stomach and struck her.

She later reportedly sought medical attention at a hospital.

Back in March, Brittany Byrd and SAINt JHN were spotted together in Los Angeles, but there was no confirmation on their relationship status. However, Brittany's manager says the two have a strictly working relationship.

A new report claims that Lil Uzi Vert and SAINt JHN's physical altercation in Los Angeles today is in connection to Uzi's ex-girlfriend Brittany Byrd.

In an updated report from TMZ on Friday (July 2), Lil Uzi Vert reportedly showed up at Dialog Cafe in West Hollywood because SAINt JHN was at the establishment with Uzi's former longtime girlfriend.

A source close to Brittany said that she was with SAINt JHN for business when the Philadelphia rapper got out of a Cadillac Escalade SUV and confronted all of the individuals sitting at the table in the West Hollywood restaurant near Sunset Boulevard. Apparently, Uzi and SAINt JHN got into it shortly after.

Lil Uzi Vert allegedly threw a punch at SAINt JHN, which didn't land. Uzi reportedly fell to the ground and his firearm fell out from somewhere on him. Brittany then reportedly removed herself from the table and approached Uzi, who allegedly pushed his gun into her stomach, then struck her.

All parties left the scene and Brittany reportedly went to the hospital to receive medical attention.

Additional reports claim that she plans on filing a police report.

News surfaced earlier this afternoon that Lil Uzi Vert and SAINt JHN had gotten into a physical altercation, but at the time, there were no details pertaining to what sparked the incident.

Back in March, SAINt JHN was spotted hanging out with Lil Uzi's ex Brittany in Los Angeles. However, there hasn't been any confirmation regarding their relationship status.

When The Hollywood Fix caught up with SAINt JHN four days after he was seen with Brittany and asked him whether or not he's dating her, the rapper didn't offer a response.

There's no season quite like the summer, especially this year. Following a year of staying inside due to the pandemic, hip-hop fans are back outside to enjoy hot, sunny weather. With festivals resuming, outdoor events left and right and vacation season upon us, the music being released up until this point is in the running to be the song of the summer. Everyone has some sort of music-based memory tied to this time of year, and the summer of 2021 is no exception. Factor in the loosening COVID-19 restrictions and the feeling of "losing" this season last year, and it's only right that fans are already selecting their favorite tracks for the coveted "Song of the Summer" title. If Twitter is any indication, there are a plenty of songs that are already being given the designation. No worries, XXL will walk you through some of the top picks.

It's been crystal clear that women have been having a huge renaissance within rap music over the last year. There are numerous tracks by the ladies in hip-hop that have been thrust into song of the summer contention by fans. Megan Thee Stallion's "Thot Shit," released on June 11, celebrates women taking pride in themselves and doing what they want. A perfect soundtrack for all the Hot Girls these next few months.

City Girls' "Twerkulator," which officially dropped in May, was a leaked song that went viral o TikTok first before the Afrika Bambaataa and Soulsonic Force "Planet Rock" sample was cleared. The track peaked at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming one of the most sought after songs for the turnup since its release. Coi Leray had the biggest hit of her career so far with "No More Parties," her first Hot 100 entry at No. 26. The song went platinum, and still has legs after its January release. These songs by talented women in rap are also competing for the song of the summer title against Doja Cat's recent single "Need to Know" and Yung Baby Tate's irresistibly catchy "Eenie Meenie."

There are also some song of the summer contenders from producers and newer names. Internet Money, the lauded producer collective, have been trying their hand at releasing more singles of their own. They may just have another hit with "His & Hers," featuring Don Toliver, Gunna and Lil Uzi Vert. The breezy hook and chemistry between all artists puts the song over the top. Florida rapper Cochise, who's no stranger to viral success, might be experiencing a second breakthrough with his new track "Tell Em" featuring $not. Coupling its familiar bounce with a free-flowing energy, the effort will be heard at more than a few parties in the coming months.

Take a look at what seems like every hip-hop song is the song of the summer according to fans below.

1. Megan Thee Stallion's "Thot Shit"

2. City Girls' "Twerkulator"

3. Internet Money's "His & Hers" featuring Gunna, Don Toliver and Lil Uzi Vert

Foresight is a powerful thing and back in 2016, XXL introduced its annual and coveted Freshman class. Fast forward to present day, rappers inducted that year such as Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black and Denzel Curry are still making marks in hip-hop with their rhymes, creativity, endorsement deals, philanthropy and much more.

All five of the aforementioned artists have landed on the Billboard chart, whether it was for a single or an album. As recently as October of last year, 21 Savage snagged the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart for his album Savage Mode 2 with producer Metro Boomin. Towards the top of last year, in March of 2020, Lil Uzi had similar success with Eternal Atake.

However, before their Billboard charting status and their many other accolades, these gentlemen were XXL Freshman spitting bars together. Check out the lyrics to their 2016 XXL Freshman Cypher below.

VERSE 1: Denzel Curry
Rest in power, it's all about power
Squeeze two lemons together and really all you'll have is sour
Diesel, niggas'll smoke your ass to have the juice
Riding around in an all black coupe
Couple of pigeons that's ready to shoot, shit
Ducking and bucking and dodging and dropping
With 48 ounces and cigarette butts
Fucking around with the up echelon
They will turn you to cubes and I hope you be gone
Envelope, overload, cranium overdose
Denny Cascade, what the fuck is the halves
Click clack, get powed, bitch, it's a wrap
Tierra my witness, I pray for a nap
Youngin' and restless, return with a past
Key in ignition, foot on the gas
None of you niggas is acting that jab
Gold teeth in the Glock and a Cybertech mask
Ring gun, particles, turn you into molecules
Planet shrooms, planet shrooms, I'll take you to my panic room

VERSE 2: Lil Uzi Vert and Kodak Black
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
All these niggas stealin' my style, can I get my flow back?
Yeah, bop on that bitch like Kodak
Yeah, bitch, you know that
Yeah, I push your shit all back (Woop, woop)
Told that bitch I got money, aye (Woop)
Countin' them hundreds, it's nothing, aye
Told that lil' bitch I got money, aye
Told that lil' bitch that's it nothing, aye (Skrrt, skrrt, tied)
Hit that bitch right from the back, she got turkey, I knock out that bitch like it's stuffing, yeah (Skrrt, skrrt, tied, okay!)
Told that lil' bitch that I'm with it
Told that lil' bitch that I'm with it
Aye, wait, 21, Lil Boat, yeah (Win)
Denzel Curry cut your throat, yeah (Yeah)
Kodak do the most, yeah (Win)
Told that lil' bitch I got all the money (Uh)
I swear this shit is just nothing (Uh)
I just be dancin' right up on that bitch, yeah
What you be stuntin'?

VERSE 3: Lil Yachty
That boy not gang, no, that boy not my friend
I hang with my gang, the same gang that felt all of my pain

Wasn't no food but rice
All of these bitches they want me but they get one night
Fuck ’em, I give a fuck what you sayin'
Bitch nigga know I ain't playing
I'm ’bout my fetty
Sailing Team armored, we ready
Fuck up that nigga if he talk out too heavy
I'm ’bout it, chains on my neck cost me twenty

I'm from the ugly corner, man, them lil' sour ass streets
Damn, homie, I'm the one who let your starving ass eat
And you was hungry, I ain't have to let your sorry ass eat
My cousin G-Wayne got off of manslaughter last week

Young Thug breathed some life into a stagnant rap game with the release of his new Slime Language 2 compilation album featuring his Young Stoner Life Records artists and a star-studded cast including Lil Baby, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk and more. On Friday (April 16), Thugger, along with Gunna, appeared on Zane Lowe's Apple Music 1’s New Music Daily to promote the album. During the conversation, YT explained how his bond with some of the artists he commissioned for the LP is way deeper than rap.

“I’m ready to die about Future,” Thug said about his loyalty to Hendrix, who he formerly had a beef with. “I’m ready to die by a Lil Baby, Durk And Uzi. I’m ready to die by these people. You know what I’m saying? If it ever comes down to it, this shit ain’t got nothing to do with no music. They was a part of the whole situation. There was a part of the whole thing. I always anybody who I had encountered. You know what I’m saying? I always turn them to family. We don’t look at them like a rappers. We all look at each other like brothers and sisters. Bro, we really argue every day, bro.”

Additionally, Drake, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott also appeared on the album. Thug talked about the energy working with the stadium status artists. “It seemed like a show,” Thug added. “It seemed like a Lollapalooza, Coachella. It just seemed like a show. Every moment was performing. Those was more a performance. You got to show up. You know what I’m saying? Everybody’s watching there. Everybody here. Everybody in your shit. Everybody in your face, you got to show up. It just felt like that. Every moment.”

Slime Language 2 is the follow-up to the 2018 original, which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Lil Uzi Vert wasn't joking when he told his fans via Twitter last weekend that he was in the process of getting a multimillion-dollar pink diamond implanted in his forehead.

Early this morning (Feb. 3), a friend of Uzi's, whose Instagram handle is @rockdv, shared a screenshot of their FaceTime conversation on his IG Story, which shows the Philadelphia-bred rhymer revealing his latest blinged-out drip. Uzi's face is close to the screen and displays what appears to be a marquis-shaped pink diamond implanted in the center of his forehead. Uzi previously stated that the stone is a GIA (Gemological Institute of America)-certified natural diamond—meaning it is natural, authenticated and not lab grown.

"Folks went crazy 24 million in his forehead dumb ass niggas," the friend captioned the image of Lil Uzi Vert with his new diamond.

rockdv via Instagram

Entrepreneur Windsor “Slow” Rubin, formerly of the Slowbucks clothing brand and who goes by @ceoslow on Instagram, posted an image of Uzi wearing his new face jewelry on his social media page as well.

"He really went in did it 24mill on his head.. What y'all thinking about it?," Slow wrote on the screenshot of his FaceTime with the former 2016 XXL Freshman, which Slow posted on his IG Story as well.

ceoslow via Instagramceoslow via Instagram

Last weekend, Lil Uzi Vert opened up about how he's been paying for this massive diamond from celebrity jeweler Elliot Eliantte for a few years now.

"I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now," Uzi tweeted last Saturday (Jan. 30). "This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face."

While the amount of the diamond hasn't been confirmed, Uzi did respond to a tweet asking if the rock costs more than $2 million per carat and he replied, "It’s 10 almost 11 carats."

Uzi also explained why he opted against getting the diamond put into a ring. "If I lose the ring yeah U will make fun of me more than putting it in my forehead ha ha jokes on you  ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha… And yes I do have insurance," he said.

Uzi is no stranger to treating himself to expensive items. The rhymer also has a custom $2 million car collection.

Clearly, what Lil Uzi Vert wants, he gets. Even if it's a massive diamond in his face.

I'm Different
Rico Nasty has been rediscovering who she is as an artist. Now, she’s ready to show the world what she discovered.
Interview: Bianca Torres
Editor’s Note: This story originally appeared in the Winter 2020 issue of XXL Magazine, on stands now.

Rico Nasty is not the typical female rapper. The 23-year-old artist, born Maria Kelly, doesn’t follow rules; she breaks them. With her rocker flare, brash attitude and explosive music, Rico moves to her own beat. On this early November evening in New York City, the Largo, Md. native has just wrapped a day of promo for her debut album, Nightmare Vacation, and now unwinds on a luxurious bed in her 6 Columbus Central Park hotel room. Her look is subtle: two pigtails, minimal makeup and a gray, lacey outfit, but Rico always exudes a rock star. That’s her aesthetic and she carries it to her core. It’s what makes the rhyme-slinger look and feel original and authentic and has helped her recently snag collabo deals with makeup brands Il Makiage and Rihanna’s Fenty.

While busy locking down business partnerships, the Atlantic Records star has also spent 2020 playing the role of teacher to her 5-year-old son during the coronavirus pandemic and in the studio cooking up some new music. Over the past few months, Rico dropped videos for “OHFR?,” “Own It” and “iPhone,” all songs featured on the recently released Nightmare Vacation.

The effort, which includes collaborations with Gucci Mane, Don Toliver, Trippie Redd and more, is a testament to Rico’s evolution. She’s released seven mixtapes to date so an album was long overdue.

Here, Rico chats it up with XXL via Zoom about finding her lane in rap, studio dedication and becoming the next Martha Stewart.

XXL: The name of your album is Nightmare Vacation. What does that mean?

Rico Nasty: Nightmare Vacation means to me, just overcoming moments of your life where it just seemed like you couldn’t get over. I found out throughout this album, I did a lot of growing. I did a lot of, like, not soul-searching, because that just sounds like a bunch of bullshit, but really getting to know myself better. I went through a lot of stuff where I felt like, back to square one, almost.

That’s why I called it Nightmare Vacation because in going through all this shit, I just felt like I had become a person that I never thought I could be. I’ve heard so many people like, “I don’t like this music” and “I don’t like her music.” This album is just a product of getting back up. This [is the] product [of] so many people telling you [what you] should be doing, and this project is just what I am.

Who is Rico Nasty right now?

There’s no more personas. There’s no more alter egos. I just am who I am. There is no hard Rico. There is no soft Rico. I feel like [I] just kind of broke those barriers. I’ve finally found my niche tone. I guess, from a melodic sense that I really, really like and it blends well with other artists. I don’t know, I feel like I’ve given my fans too many groups. This is this Rico and that Rico and everything is just, at the end of the day, it’s just me. There is no other personality and all this shit that I would have tried to hide behind a couple years ago.

You wanted this album to be like Kanye’s Yeezus. Why that comparison?

I just mean the way it was, because I didn’t like Yeezus at first. It was something that had to grow on me. It was a project that when I listened to it, I made time to listen to it. I had made time for that shit, when I knew Yeezus was dropping, I remember Kanye dropped. I was like, OK, when this comes out, I’m going to clean my room to it and I’m going to just listen to it. I’m not going to let nobody’s opinion [affect mine]. I’m going to appreciate this art.

And that’s what I did. I appreciated it. Like, every song, I sat down and I was like, play that back. What did he say? I feel like a lot of times when my fans listen to my music, it’s a party time. It’s girl time. It’s like, we’re about to go beat a bitch ass. It’s group activities, bro. And with this project, I want them to make time for me, go in your fucking room.

How has life changed over the last year?

I had so much confidence going into [XXL] Freshman and then after it, it just kind of, I don’t know what happened. I felt like I had no place. I had no acceptance, whatsoever. I felt like everything else is getting accepted and I was just like getting blown off or put off to be some type of like, “She’s this type of this girl.” And it was like, I had never been this type of anything. I’m just me. And it just started fucking with me.

At the time, [my mixtape] Anger Management is out and everybody was, “Oh my God!” But at the time I’m like, no, actually no, fuck you, because now you’re all trying to make me seem like I’m this bitch that can only do that.

I felt very alone, especially watching it be like, a Hot Girl summer. And that’s weird, because I’m like, I wouldn’t consider myself a Hot Girl and I’m crying about it. Then months later, I’m the Hot Girl, so I’m in a video, which is just crazy, because like, I’m not a Hot Girl. I’m dorky. I’m weird. I live up in a loft.

Yeah, that was a really weird time in my life. Especially like, just the whole XXL scene, the hard hip-hop people, like, this bitch is not real hip-hop. She’s trying to be White. She’s trying to be a rock star. And I’m like, if I’m not hip-hop, what the fuck is hip-hop?

Jimmy Fontaine

If you look at artists like Lil Uzi Vert, he popped up on the rap scene like a rock star. He was completely different.

Yeah, but even now, Uzi, I always consider him a rock star because of his attitude. The way he dresses, the way he carries himself. His music is rap. That’s rap music. And I think that those had hip-hop hits. Like, if I don’t look like Noname or J. Cole, I’m not real hip-hop to them. It blows my mind.

You can see yourself as a trailblazer and they never have it easy. They’re always scrutinized.

It’s very lonely because they’re intimidated. Trailblazers, they are weird. I can’t name a trailblazer that’s not a little bit weird. Just because we make great music doesn’t make us great human beings or completely geniuses at social skills. When I make my music, nine times out of 10, I make my music, I’m in the studio for 72 hours. Any person that stays in a room and doesn’t wash their ass or brush their teeth for 72 hours to make a song is not right in the head. Like, we’re not all the way there, bro. We’re just here for the music.

You’ve got to respect someone who doesn’t wash their ass for three days to do music.

Being a girl is different. I probably shouldn’t have said that. People are going to be like, “Wait a minute.” My boyfriend be in the studio with me, though. Like, why can’t women, why can’t we go as hard as the men? Do you know how many men would say the same thing? “I’ve been in the studio eight days straight, man. I took like two or three showers. I ain’t changed my clothes.” They rhyme about that shit. That’s really my life. I go in the studio and lock in.

How do you feel about the status of female rappers? You see more support amongst female rappers.

I felt like I would have fucking hated to be late to the party because that would have made me really sad, to be missing out on all this love. Our game has never felt like this. It’s never been so warm. You have friends and you get to watch people literally get rich together.

How do you feel about politics and the big Biden-Harris win?

I feel great. Well, let me not say great. Alright. Let me not do this, because…it doesn’t make me feel great. Like, I could sleep at night, it makes me feel better, you know? I feel reassured. I don’t feel reassured in our government, but I feel reassured in our people because we’ve seen, as a group, it was a problem. And regardless of how close [President Trump] came to winning or whatever the fuck he keeps talking about, we came together as a people to make a difference.

Do you have any specific goals for 2021?

We got to get rid of this corona bitch ’cause this bitch needs to go. I don’t know if I might have to jump her or what’s about to happen, but we need to all go outside one day and beat her ass. I need to go on a vacation that’s what I want to do next year. I wanna take a vacation and I want to go scuba diving.

What’s your ultimate goal in life, in general?

I want to be able to be heard not seen. I want to be one of those people that my song is on a game. You get off the game, watching a commercial, I’m on a fucking commercial. You get in the bed, my brand of sheets are on the bed and I got slippers. I just want to become, not only a household name, but a household item. Off some Martha Stewart shit. I love interior design. I love vases and desks and chairs and bed frames and shit like that. Sheets, shower curtains, rugs.

I feel like everybody idolizes the rapper’s house anyway. Everybody wants the rapper’s house. So, why not actually have a place that you could buy shit that rapper’s have had in their house or things that make your house look hella rich without being rich. A lot of people not rich and home decor is expensive. So, I need that Target collab A.S.A.P.

Lil Uzi Vert’s custom car collection is unrivaled. Over the last four years, he’s put millions of dollars into a number of luxury whips that are often praised by his fans for their anime-inspired wraps and vibrant color schemes.

The unique designs, which tap on mangas like Kimi ni Todoke and animations like Cowboy Bepop, can be credited to Michael Layton and his 20-man team at design shop Car Effex in Sewell, N.J. Though it takes a lot of time, they’ve embraced the task of putting the layers of Uzi’s wild imagination on wheels. From different wrap ideas to more horsepower, Layton and his team stay busy crafting cars for Uzi's approval. Two years ago, at the 2019 Philadelphia International Auto Show, the rhymer showed Dub Magazine his $2 million car collection.

From viral clips of Lil Uzi Vert dashing through traffic or simply parked on the curb, his fans on the internet are constantly questioning how many cars he actually has. In actuality, he just reworks his pricey garage inventory time after time instead of always buying new cars. For example, Slimere’s $200,000 Lamborghini Urus went through four different looks in the last few years. You'll see the evolution below.

It’s clear that the Philly rapper takes his motor game seriously. Lil Uzi Vert is committed to freshening these high-powered machines like he freshens himself. “These like my kids. If I’m iced out, you think my car is not iced out?” he said in a since-deleted Instagram post.

With the constant hype that surrounds Lil Uzi Vert's custom car collection, XXL decided to take a look at what he's working with these days. Below you’ll find details on the vehicle transformations, some significant features on the insides and outsides and some numbers that show just how much these expensive cars go for on average.

  • Audi R8

Lil Uzi Vert’s Audi R8 is probably the most recognizable car in his extensive collection. About three years ago, the nearly $200,000 sports car was wrapped in military green. The doors feature designs inspired by the romance manga Kimi ni Todoke and, of course, a huge "16," which refers to the 1600 block Uzi is from in Philly. Extra upgrades on this one include a Radenso built-in radar, red LED lights seen in the back where the bumper is deleted and a twin-turbo engine.

In February of 2020, Uzi got this one reworked with a purple chrome print on the outside that's themed with an anime called Sword Art Online. The inside is covered with matching fluorescent lights that reflect the name “Vert” across the ceiling, apple red seats and yellow race car seatbelts.

  • Bentley Continental GT

In 2019, Uzi had his Bentley Continental GT designed with the usual military green and black colors. The doors have the number 16 on it to rep where he's from. Additional features on this vehicle include a police package with strobe lights and sirens, a custom-sewn interior that has green snake skin on the seats, red LED lights over the JL speaker system and an off-road roll cage seen in the front. It’s unclear how much he paid for this one, but the 2021 version of this car retails at just over $200,000.

  • Lamborghini Urus

The first edition of Uzi’s Lamborghini Urus was laid out with a primary military green coat, black rims, the number 16 in the back window and a white, grey and black interior. A year after the first time it was redesigned in 2018, the Philadelphia rapper replaced the look with battleship grey on the body and orange accents to match the Vlone Forgiato rims for it to sit on.

Last June, Baby Pluto opted for the car’s most colorful design yet, taken from the anime Mobile Police Patlabor, before flipping the entire thing back to a more solid, vantablack color. Prices for this automobile start at $200,000.

  • Bugatti Veyron

Lil Uzi Vert copped his Bugatti Veyron as a 25th birthday gift to himself in July of 2019. The whip, seen in the first Instagram post below, was previously owned by legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., who spent $3.3 million dollars on the luxury vehicle. However, Uzi got it at a steal for just over $1.5 million dollars.

The first wrap Baby Pluto put on this car was coated with the colors of orange and grey. Then he eventually got it reworked with an inspiration that merges the anime Cowboy Bebop and The Weeknd’s Starboy cover art. To match the outside, he requested a lipstick red interior.

  • USSV Rhino GX

Renji’s USSV Rhino GX started off with yet another army-inspired look, portrayed in the hunter green color. The bulletproof whip, priced at over half a million dollars, was first designed back in 2018, but two years later, went through three different upgrades.

The following versions include a battleship grey wrap with orange accents, a Girls und Panzer-inspired design on a charcoal body with a bright pink “16” on the front grill and lastly, an all black cover. Additional hallmarks on this big-body whip include a train horn, a PS4, red LED lights on the inside and outside and seven TVs.

  • Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Dodge Hellcats have become some of the most talked about cars in rap over the last few years. But Lil Uzi Vert’s vehicle has a little more drip than the average. After copping this car at some point in the late 2010s, the 26-year-old rapper got a matte army wrap put on it with all black rims. About a year later, he upgraded the rims to blade design boasted by a bright rose red color. And the body got some extra “umph” too, featuring a shark mouth print across the front.

As of April 2020, the car was scaled down to a matte grey cover. Inside sauce includes red LED lights, a JL audio system and a Radenso built-in radar. This lowest price for this wide-body whip starts at about $55,000.

  • Bentley Bentayga Mansory

Slimere’s Bentley Bentayga Mansory, seen in his possession back in 2017, was black on black at first with an orange-ish interior. But in 2019, Uzi ditched the black paint on the body and got it wrapped in military green. Last January, he upgraded his whip once more. This time, with the colorful inspiration of Beyond the Boundary and some iris-colored bladed rims. Back in 2017, this car retailed for nothing south of $200,000.

  • Rolls-Royce Cullinan

As soon as Uzi copped his Rolls-Royce Cullinan around 2018, he leveled it up. The outside of the $350,000 luxury car was initially painted in seaweed green and contained an all-tan interior. The chrome rims clearly glared, but not as much as the diamond-encrusted hood ornament on the tip of the hood. Though he decided to eventually trash the common battleship grey and orange accents on his other vehicles, he kept that color scheme on this one for his most recent upgrade in January of 2020.

[Verse 1: Lil Uzi Vert]
Everybody rock with me because I’m up now
Took your girl and I’ma score, like I made the touch-down
Swervin’ and the Lambo doors go up, not on the bus now
Used to want a G-Shock, now I’m walking with a bust down
Pull up and I’m flooding with an iced out watch
Whip it look like butter baby, pecan drop
Pick and drop, put that phone, handsome drop
Stack my knots, count a lot, saw a lot
Got them rocks, Diamond rocks, whip the pot
Suicide, 1600, that’s the block
Hit your girl that’s check free
She ain´t used to text me
Now she won’t caress me
She keep tryna neck me
I got’ tell my bestie, someone call my bestie
Think I found my bestie, link up make the check bleed
You know that I’m smoking dope, I’ll be high til’ next week
Know I had to let her go, cause she can’t arrest me

[Chorus: Playboi Carti]
Woke up with my toolie, what it do?

We gon’ the rob the bank, brain lose
We gon’ take the boy back to school

[Verse 2: Lil Uzi Vert]

Diamonds on my neck and wrist they compliment that karats

Oops, yeah my bad, that’s your girl? We could share it
Might buy her diamonds and pearls, but can’t marry

Lyrics Lil Uzi Vert – Xo tour lif3

Are you alright?
I’m alright, I’m quite alright
And my money’s right
8..(xo tour lif3)

I don’t really care if you cry
On the real you should’ve never lied
Should’ve saw the way she looked me in my eyes
She said baby I am not afraid to, die
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge.

Phantom that’s all red
Inside all white
Like something you ride a sled down
I just want that head
My Brittany got mad
I’m really her man now
Everybody got the same swag now
One way that I trap now
Stackin my bands all the way to the top
All the way till my bands fallin over
Every time that you leave your spot
Your girlfriend call me like “Come on over”
I like the way that she treat me
Gon’ leave you, won’t leave me
I’m callin that Casanova
She said I’m insane now
I might blow my brain out
Xanny numb the pain out
Please, Xanny make it go away
I’m committed, not addicted but it keep controlling me
All that pain, now I can’t feel it, I swear that it’s slowing me (yeahhh).

I don’t really care if you cry
On the real, you should’ve never lied
Saw the way she looked me in my eyes
She said I am not afraid to, die
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead (yeah)
All my friends are dead (yeah).

That is not your swag I swear you faking
Yeah these niggas wanna take my cadence
Rain on ’em, thunderstorm, rain on ’em
Medicine, lil nigga take some
Fast car, Nascar, race on
In the club they got no ones, we were baked now
Clothes from overseas versuri-lyrics.info
Got the racks and they all C-Notes
You is not a G though
Look at you stackin’ all your money, it all green though
I was counting that and you got twenties, that’s a G-roll.

She said
You’re the worst, you’re the worst
I cannot die because this my universe.

I don’t really care if you cry
On the real, you should’ve never lied
Should’ve saw the way she looked me in my eyes
She said baby I am not afraid to, die
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead
Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead

Video life

[Intro: Quavo]
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah (yeah)
Yeah, yeah, yeah

[Hook: Quavo & Travis Scott]
One more ride (ride) one more race (ride)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go off (I’ma ride tonight)
I’m the master of my fate
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I gotta go now

[Verse 1: Quavo]
Taking off and I’m riding on the road now
Hit the gas, no brakes, gotta go now
Put my life on the line, yeah it’s on me
Blood rushing through my veins, no IV
Ride, switching lanes, you can’t stop me
You can smell the propane when you pass me (propane)
Ride for the gang because I’m the chief (gang gang)
Helicopter hovering, it’s high speed
Chase, drive, straight
I’mma, race, to the, cake
Flame, on it, no chain, on me
All of, us, became, homies

[Hook: Quavo & Travis Scott]
One more ride (ride) one more race (race)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go off (I’ma ride tonight)
I’m the master of my fate
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I gotta go now

[Verse 2: Travis Scott]
Nine-nine, nine-nine (yeah)
You’re rocking with the ether child in overdrive
Yeah yeah, I-5 to I-9
We go all niiiiight, yeah (straight up!)
Double 0 speed, double 0 Chevy
I hit the fourth gear, hope I don’t drift
Souped up cars all around me
Hot-boxing at a high speed
One lane driving
Bad thing beside me
One more time on the road (it’s lit)
One more time ‘fore we go

[Hook: Quavo & Travis Scott]
One more ride (ride) one more race (race)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go off (I’ma ride tonight)
I’m the master of my fate
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I gotta go now

[Verse 3: Lil Uzi Vert]
Gotta go now, gotta go
Swervin’ in my whip can’t slow down
Driving fancy cars, boy I’m on the road now
Automatic start, my Vic take a code now
Yeah, rockstar, heavy metal, no guitar
Why you pay so much for your Nissan? Because it’s GTR
First I shift it, click it, burning rubber like I’m moving dark
Drive at night, I chop my top so I can relate to the stars
Yeah, relate to the stars
I’ma race you for a pink slip
I got nitrous in my car so tell me what you thinkin’
My adrenaline start pumpin’ so I been stopped blinkin’

[Hook: Quavo & Travis Scott]
One more ride (ride) one more race (race)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I gotta go now

Lyrics Lil Uzi Vert – Go off

One more ride (ride) one more race (ride)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go off (I’ma ride tonight)
I’m the master of my fate
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I’ma go off (I’ma go off)
I gotta go now.

Taking off and I’m riding on the road now
Hit the gas, no brakes, gotta go now
Put my life on the line, yeah it’s on me
Blood rushing through my veins, no IV
Ride, switching lanes, you can’t stop me
You can smell the propane when you pass me (propane)
Ride for the gang because I’m the chief (gang gang)
Helicopter hovering, it’s high speed
Chase, drive, straight
I’mma, race, to the, cake
Flame, on it, no chain, on me
All of, us, became, homies.

One more ride (ride) one more race (race)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go off (I’ma ride tonight)
I’m the master of my fate
I’ma go offff (I’ma go offff)
I’ma go offff (I’ma go offff)
I gotta go now.

Nine-nine, nine-nine (yeah)
You’re rocking with the ether child in overdrive
Yeah yeah, I-5 to I-9
We go all niiiiight, yeah (straight up!)
Double 0 speed, double 0 Chevy
I hit the fourth gear, hope I don’t drift
Souped up cars all around me
Hot-boxing at a high speed
One lane driving
Bad thing beside me
One more time on the road (it’s lit)
One more time ‘fore we go.

One more ride (ride) one more race (race)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go offff (I’ma go offff)
I’ma go offff (I’ma go offff)
I gotta go now.

Gotta go now, gotta go
Swervin’ in my whip can’t slow down
Driving fancy cars, boy I’m on the road now
Automatic start, my Vic take a code now
Yeah, rockstar, heavy metal, no guitar
Why you pay so much for your Nissan? Because it’s GTR
First I shift it, click it, burning rubber like I’m moving dark
Drive at night, I chop my top so I can relate to the stars
Yeah, relate to the stars versuri-lyrics.info
I’ma race you for a pink slip
I got nitrous in my car so tell me what you thinkin’
My adrenaline start pumpin’ so I been stopped blinkin’.

One more ride (ride) one more race (race)
We go all out, we don’t play
One more ride, one more race
We don’t slow down, ain’t no brakes
I’ma go off (yeah) I’ma ride tonight (yeah)
It don’t matter what we face
I’ma go offf (I’ma go offff)
I’ma go offff (I’ma go offff)
I gotta go nowww.

Lyrics Lil Uzi Vert – Luv Scars

So much water on my neck might need a bowl or something
So many different girls I got a load of ’em (yeah!)
Why you always hating, go and get you some
Girl, why you always tripping when you know it’s love
Walk around, cuban link, my Patek is flooded
Now my pockets super deep, flooded with them hundreds (ooh!)
Flooded with them hundreds (damn!)
Flooded with them hundreds
What you thought it wasn’t?(luv scars)

And it’s sixteen-hundred
Try to take my soul my young niggas they coming
I remember when they said that I was nothing
I can’t trust my brother, I can’t trust my cousin
No, let me take my time versuri-lyrics.info
I want every girl like I can’t make my mind
I spent eighty-thousand just to flood the time
I don’t wear no Hanes, my T-shirt Saint Laurent
I just made a whole bag from like half of a show
I still got some boys sad, moving bags of the dope
Yeah you know I got that cash, you can get flashed on the low
Just because you knew my dad don’t mean that I put you close.

What you thought it was?

I’ve been by myself so I’m not losing help
I don’t need you niggas, look like you can’t tell
Can’t do nothing around you because we know you ‘gone tell
Niggas I grew up with got a five-star room in Hell
Why? Cause they not loyal
Can’t believe we grew up in the soil (fuck nigga!)
Tell my niggas I got them with lawyers
Man, I wish I would knew I would’ve won (would’ve won!)
Man, I wish I would knew I would’ve won
They killed ninety right there on the corner
I miss Chico I swear that’s my brother
Looking down on me right with his mother.

What you thought it wasss?(luv scars)

The pigs come round’, nobody tell a name

The pigs come round’, nobody tell a name

Lyrics Lil Uzi Vert – Uppin downers

I don’t wanna go if it’s not no pills there (no)
I’m from 1600, know some niggas still there (yeah)
Tweak… Damn, DJ Plugg, you just killed it
Yeah, get it, please, please, yeahhh.(uppin downers)

I take Addy just to keep me up
I take Xanny just to bring me down
I take Molly just to keep me up
Took a 30 just to bring me down
After your b*tch done booting up
Then she turn her frown upside down
Went to the store like, “Add me up”
Told that f*ck nigga, “Go wipe me down”
I was on Addy to keep me up
I was on Xanny to bring me down
I was on Molly to keep me up
I was on 30’s to bring me down
I was on Addy to keep me up
I was on Xanny to bring me down
I was on Molly to keep me up
I was on 30’s to bring me down.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. (x4)

I don’t wanna go if it’s not no pills there (no)
I’m from 1600, know some niggas still there (yeah)
Tweakin’ and geekin’ off Molly and Xanny and Perky and Addy (whoo)
Gettin’ this money, my hundreds so crispy, I’m gettin’ this cabbage
Still the same nigga, eat my salmon black
Told that nigga I f*cked on his b*tch gladly
That lil’ b*tch mad ’cause she really can’t have me
She sucked my d*ck with a piece of candy
Looked in my eyes, said she can’t stand me
Talk to my foreign, it talkin’ right back
10 double G’s and I’m takin’ ’em things
Jump in the ‘Rari, everything went black.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.(x4)

All of my diamonds, they start wit’ V
Swerve in the ‘Rari, it ain’t got no key
All of you rappers are hot to me
Because y’all all remind me of me
I was just normal, I went through a portal
Now my life changed like I’m Mr. D
f*ck that bih once, then I dip
f*ck that bih once, then I dip
f*ck that bih once, then I dip
f*ck that bih once, then I dip
f*ck the b*tch once, then I hit delete
She so wet, might have to repeat
She drink the pints of the lean
She drink the pints of the lean
I smoke the pounds of the green
She was on Oxy by 3
She was on Oxy by 3
She was on Roxi and E
She put her body on me
She throw her body on me
I am first ’cause I’m A1 and you Z
Takin’ Addys ’til I really can’t seee.(uppin downers)

Hook: Lil Uzi Vert
Bust-Bussin traps off my phone
These junkies won’t leave me lone
Had-Had your bitch all on my phone
Then she gave me dome
Tra-Trap-Trappin off my phone
These junkies won’t leave me lone
Your bitch on my phone
That bitch gave me dome

Verse 1: Lil Uzi Vert
She gave me dome, gave me dome
Off the shits I don’t know
What the fuck you saying?
Jumping in the Rolls, sippin on this Rose
2-2-3 and balls, all my diamonds froze, chain look like snow
And them bitches go
All my bitches hoes, they be sniffing coke
I don’t sniff no coke
(?)
Glizzy with the sticks
45th with poles
You ain’t really know I was with the shits
Now you really know
Speaking two different languages
If it ain’t bout that dough
Xanny eyes closed
Ballin like I’m Sammy, chillin in Miami
I just need a Grammy
Chillin on the ocean, pussy just be flowin
She ain’t got no panties
Jupiter flow, I am not a human
I be out this planet
And I’m still not landing
My young niggas trappin

Verse 2: G Herb
All of my bitches they fine and they right
Still suck my dick the first night
Sippin Rozay cause I’m not getting high
Put the codiene with the Sprite
Hoes on my dick tryna fuck and I’m wasted
I think I’m Future No Basic
Can’t fuck that bitch if she basic
Like half a brick for my bracelet
Pull up tryna stunt in a race
Pull off tryna race in my strape
Your bitch let me fuck in the strape
Disrespect her and buss in her face
Money one thing that’s gonna stay on mind
I gave her all of my time
Text that bitch tell her I’m on my way but I’m lyin
She don’t distribute a dime
And these junkies they never stop hittin my line
Gotta distribute them dimes
They don’t write they just hittin them lines
30 shots clips in them 9s
Tryna run and get hit in the spine
If you jug you get with the 5
Catch me up in the hood
Posted up with my ice and my gun and my niggas behind
