BTS rapper J-Hope just dropped a new single with J. Cole called "On the Street."

On Friday (March 3), globally accomplished K-pop star J-Hope turned a dream into reality by releasing a song alongside his favorite rapper, J. Cole. The new collab comes just one day after the renowned BTS member unveiled to his staggering 44.4 million Instagram followers that J-Hope and the Dreamville boss had something cooking.

In a cryptic video clip posted on Thursday (March 2), simply captioned "X @realcoleword," J-Hope can be seen walking along a high-rise rooftop with his back to the camera wearing a vintage Avirex leather jacket. As the beloved K-pop rapper-singer approaches the edge of the building, a pensive-looking J. Cole is seen looking off into the distance as J-Hope takes a seat next to him. When the camera pans away, a graphic appears, unveiling the words, "'On the Street' with J. Cole. Friday, March 3. 2:00 PM."

Less than 24 hours after the announcement, "On the Street" hit the streets with J-Hope opening the 3:34-minute track with a chorus and a verse that highlights lyrical sentiments of hope and faith. From there, J. Cole takes the reigns on verse two, gliding over the lo-fi drums and warm melody with the same type of thought-provoking, poetic bars that have established the North Carolina native as one of the most prominent lyricists in all of hip-hop.

In an interview with Variety regarding "On the Street," J-Hope opened up about how the joint effort with J. Cole came about and what it means for the career of the worldwide megastar in his opinion.

"It goes back to Lollapalooza last summer," J-Hope told Variety. "J. Cole is my idol and we met there. Since then, I couldn’t stop thinking about how great it would be if we could make music together. So I reached out to him. I already had a plan in mind to release music around this time, and I began working on it in early November. As much as it took me a while to finish the song, I cherish it so much and it means a lot to me."

The release of "On the Street" follows the recent announcement that J-Hope will be the second BTS member to join the ranks of Korea's mandatory 18-month service in the military. In making the announcement, J-Hope and BTS' label, BIGHIT Music, provided a statement on the matter directed toward the K-Pop phenomenon's global legion of loyal fans.

"We would like to inform our fans that J-Hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement,” BIGHIT's statement reads according to Hypebeast. “We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for J-Hope until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist."

As for J. Cole, the song with J-Hope rounds out a busy new music Friday for the "Snow on Tha Bluff" MC. Aside from "On the Street," Cole's imprint, Dreamville, provided executive-producing duties on the soundtrack for the new Michael B. Jordan film, Creed III, which features 18 tracks stacked with Cole's signees such as JID, Bas and Earthgang, among many others.

CHORUS (J-Hope):

Every time I walk
Every time I run
Every time I move
As always, for us
Every time I look
Every time I love
Every time I hope
As always, for us (On the street, I'm still)

VERSE 1 (J-Hope):

My two feet walk willingly, anywhere
J in the air
For the path I’m on to become one of hope, I give my all
Even my walk was made of
Your love and your faith
To repay you even from afar, just like a butterfly
Now, just walk lightly, whenever you want
Go on, hopefully, wherever you walk
In these streets imbued with someone’s breath
I leave my soul and my eternity
Everywhere (I'll be)

CHORUS (J-Hope):

Every time I walk
Every time I run
Every time I move
As always, for us
Every time I look
Every time I love
Every time I hope
As always, for us (On the street, I'm still)

VERSE 2 (J. Cole)

Yeah
All hail the mighty survivor of hell
Plopped down from heaven to sell
Holy water that I scooped from the well
Fought tooth and a nail
Just to prevail amongst the ruthless as I move through the field
Feelin' worried in a hurry like a two-minute drill
To make a couple mil' off a lucrative deal
Selling train of thought, name a artist who could derail
You'll never see it like a n***a hula-hoopin' in jail
I got a friend smart as f**k, but he stupid as hell
He swear that God ain't real
Since it ain't no way to prove it his self
As if the universe ain't enough
As if the volcanoes ain't erupt
As if the birds don't chirp
As if a trillion nerves don't work in the human body
S**t, who would I be?
Without the creator of this theater beside me to gently guide me?
Some days, I wonder if I need to pick a different hobby
I'm deep in with this rappin', it's all a n***a know
I never didn't nothin' better, it's hard to let it go
But like a father watching his daughter
Walk down the altar with tears in his eyes
You gotta let her grow
And so I shall, but first, I been honing my style
Coldest around, with more quotables than what the quota allows
You see a top ten list, I see a Golden Corral, nigga
As the moon jumps over the cow
I contemplate if I should wait to hand over the crown
And stick around for a bit longer, I got a strange type of hunger
The more I eat, the more it gets stronger
The more it gets stronger
I said the more it gets stronger
J-hope, Cole World

CHORUS (J-Hope and J. Cole):

Every time I walk (Every time I walk, yeah)
Every time I run (Every time I run on to you)
Every time I move (Every time I move)
As always, for us (Do this for us now)
Every time I look (Every time I look)
Every time I love (Every time I love)
Every time I hope
As always, for us (On the street, I'm still)
Every time I walk
Every time I run
Every time I move
As always, for us
Every time I look
Every time I love
Every time I hope
As always, for us (On the street, I'm still)

Nicki Minaj is back and she's reminding folks who is the queen of hip-hop.

On Friday (March 3), Nicki Minaj dropped her new single, "Red Ruby Da Sleeze." The song, which samples Lumidee’s 2003 summer hit "Never Leave You (Uh-Oh)," follows her 2022 summer hit "Super Freaky Girl."

Judging by the single's cover art, Nicki is rapping under her alter ego Chun-Li, whom she first introduced in her 2018 video for "Chun-Li." In the image, the Queens, N.Y. rhymer is in the kitchen of an Asian restaurant wearing a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier "pon mi dress" and holding a Chinese Spider Strainer. She also flipped her hairstyle, rocking pink and red-colored Chun-Li-style hair buns.

Nicki also shared more images from her "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" photo shoot on her Instagram page, which you can see below. In one photo, Nicki addressed the ghostwriters in the rap game.

"#RedRubyDaSleeze tmrw night [chop sticks emoji] ghost writers all around the world are scrambling [face with peaking eye and rolling on the floor laughing emojis] Just watch," Nicki wrote.

"Nicki still on hiatus. This b!@ch right here tho? She outside," she added referring to her conniving alter ego.

Nicki Minaj's Chun-Li alter ego is known to the Barbz (aka her fans) as the Queen rapper's most sinister persona but well-respected for her lyrical skills and acidic bars.

INTRO (Nicki Minaj):

VERSE 1 (Nicki Minaj and Lumidee):

Only on them C's if it's breeze (Uh-oh, uh-oh)

But I don't f**k with horses since Christopher Reeves

Gotta be careful when I do it, it's flips all in the whips
It's forties with thirty clips, FN's with the switch
Guacamole with taco, waitin' on El Chapo
Came in the Rolls and left low in a Tahoe

BRIDGE (Nicki Minaj):

VERSE 2 (Nicki Minaj and Lumidee):

Rude bwoy want mi touchin' inna mi body like
Bwoy affi dead if yuh eva diss me
You know what to do if yuh eva miss me

OUTRO (Lumidee):
Do you want me stay
I'll never leave
If you want to stay
We'll always be
If you want me to stay
Love endlessly

It looks like Lil Wayne is in album mode. The Young Money rapper just released his new single with the late DMX titled "Kant Nobody."

On Friday (Feb. 24), Weezy revealed a sign that Tha Carter VI may be dropping sooner than later by putting out the new track "Kant Nobody" with DMX and produced by Swizz Beatz. Tune and Swizz first teased the track on Wednesday (Feb. 22), on Instagram, sharing a promo for the new cut, which is scored by a sample of the Swizz Beatz-produced DMX track "Niggas Done Started Something."

Wayne is in his rap bag on the head-nodding banger. On the track, Weezy delivers punchlines after punchlines over a "Substitution" breakbeat and a sample of DMX's "Niggaz Done Started Something" from X's 1998 debut, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot.

"Best rapper, ex-trapper, dress dapper/Swizzy gave me a headbanga, a neck snappa," spits Weezy on the chorus, adding, "X-factor, make a rapper an Ex-ample/All I need is a beat with a DMX sample."

The new track is a good sign that Weezy's highly anticipated Tha Carter VI album is on the way. Last summer, he confirmed the album is coming soon during his performance Drake's Young Money Reunion concert. Dropping the album in the near future would be ideal for the rapper who recently announced he will be embarking on the Welcome to Tha Carter Tour in April.

XXXTentacion's estate has released a new song that features the late rapper collaborating with Lil Uzi Vert.

On Monday (Jan. 23), XXXTentacion's new track "I'm Not Human" dropped featuring Lil Uzi Vert. The song was released on what would have been his 25th birthday. Produced by John Cunningham, X's longtime collaborator, the acoustic-driven ballad offers sentimental lyrics from both XXXTentacion and Uzi Vert.

Before releasing the song, an announcement was made on X’s official Instagram. "A gift from Jah," read a message. "Thank you #liluzi."

It's unclear when Uzi recorded his verses for the song. In the past, the Philadelphia rapper was hesitant about appearing on a posthumous song with the late Florida rhymer.

"He called me one time when he was incarcerated a long time ago and I was going onstage—I was on tour with the Weeknd—he called me and he actually rapped a song for me that he never laid, and it was really good," Uzi told Twitch personality Adin Ross on his livestream in November 2021. "I would love to do a song with him but I’m really weird on stuff like that. Don’t get me wrong, it took me really long to do that before with another artist."

"I understand that they’re not here living, and what if that’s not the vision that they really want?" he continued. "Especially if they really fucked with me, like, what if that’s all wrong? I’ll be pissed off if they did it all wrong because I’m not here, but you know, if it works out, it works out."

Well, it must have worked out.

INTRO (XXXTentacion):

Do not— mm, mm
Mm-mm, mm, mm

VERSE 1 (XXXTentacion):

Bury all your secrets in my skin
Come away with innocence
And leave me with my sins
Air around me feels just like a cage
Love is just a camouflage for what resembles rage

CHORUS (XXXTentacion):

Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human

VERSE 2 (Lil Uzi Vert and Both):

Let all your secrets in my skin (Oh, yeah)
I won't even tell my best of friends (Shh)
I know that I'm not from this earth
And I know deep down you are hurt, but
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I wanna be on my own planet
I wanna be more than a has-been
'Cause I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a— woah
I feel like I need to find my homе
I feel like I'm just some kind of my own
I'm a translucent, wholе different movement
I keep on chasin' you, I am just stupid
Yeah, and I'm not a human (I'm not a human)
And I'm not a human being
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human

CHORUS (XXXTentacion, Lil Uzi Vert and Both):

Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human (Oh-oh-oh)

VERSE 3 (Lil Uzi Vert):

Lay you down when you go to sleep
And wipe your eyes every time you weep, oh
Tell you that life is not that deep
Paintin' pictures that I'm a freak, but I'm not a human
I'm tired of losin', inflicting my bruises, humans are users
I'm not a human, I'm not a human
I'm not a human, I'm not a human (Woah)

CHORUS (XXXTentacion):
Pain's gon' come, I won't cry
Leave my heart out of it
I'm not a human, I'm not a human

Memphis rap superstars Moneybagg Yo and GloRilla teamed up for a song called "On Wat U On," which marks the first time these two CMG labelmates have collaborated on a track together.

Additionally, on Thursday (Jan. 12), Moneybagg Yo also dropped an accompanied music video for "On Wat U On," which was inspired by John Singleton's 2001 flick, Baby Boy. In the visual, Moneybagg portrays Tyrese Gibson’s character Jody, and Big Glo plays Taraji P. Henson’s character Yvette, as they act out some of the film's toxic scenes between Jody and Yvette.

Fans seemed to love Glorilla's lyrical performance on the song.

"@GloTheofficial going crazy [three fire emojis] I’m glad she becoming a super star , y’all was hating saying she only a one hit wonder . Now look , the way she rap is different, shit be HARD," tweeted one person.

"@GloTheofficial Didn’t have to snap this hard [hot face and fire emojis] #OnWhatYouOn," praised a second person.

However, other people are not happy with Moneybagg and Glo's video because of its perceived stereotypical themes and presentation of a toxic relationship.

"They really pushing the black toxic couple agenda w glorilla n moneybag song…," an unimpressed fan declared.

"I was thinking when did rap change, because I dont understand it, not at all. This is not me, let me put that NAS back on so I can chill. Guess Im aged out of rap," criticized one person.

Moneybagg Yo's "On Wat U On" follows his previous track "Quickie," which he dropped back in December of 2022.

Yo' mama ain't got no daughters, boy you ain't them bitches brothers (The fuck?)
Then you told me you that knew the bitch, but you ain't say you fucked her (Hm)
Ol' cheatin' ass, toxic ass, good dick muthafucka (Hate yo' ass)

Quavo has released a heartfelt musical tribute to his late nephew and bandmate Takeoff.

On Wednesday night (Jan. 4), Quavo released the new single "Without You." The song, which features Vory on the intro, serves as Quavo's first musical release since Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston on Nov. 1. The Zaytoven, Mike Dean, Elyas and Eugene-produced track is a somber one that finds Quavo understandably waxing poetic about the pain he's felt since losing Takeoff.

"Out in the galaxy, up in the stars/Over the universe, it's bigger than Mars/See you in Heaven, see you in Heaven/When I see you in Heaven, I'ma be with my dawg (Yeah)," Quavo croons on the chorus.

The accompanying video features one continuous black-and-white shot of Quavo in the studio smoking while listening to the playback of the song. Quavo broke his silence on the death of Takeoff on Nov. 12, paying homage to Take in a lengthy IG post.

Check Out the Lyrics to "Without You" and Peep the Video Below

INTRO (Vory):
(What would I do without you?)
Tears rollin' down my eyes
(What would I do without you?)
I just seen an angel fly
(What would I do without you?)
Tell me I'll be fine, oh why (What would I do without you?)
If you hear me say you lie, you a lie, you a lie
You hear me say you lie, you a lie, you a lie

VERSE 1 (Quavo):
Tears rollin' down my eyes (Mm-hm)

SZA and Travis Scott team up once again for another collaborative song "Open Arms," which appears on the R&B singer's just-released album, SOS.

On "Open Arms," produced by Michael Uzowuru, Teo Halm and Rob Bisel, SZA sings of heartbreak and comes to the realization that she will accept isolation with open arms to avoid future heartaches. LaFlame comes in on the third verse and embraces the songstress's emotional decision.

"Locked in for life, on God, no replacin' me/Consequences, repercussions, karma keep on changin' me (Ooh yeah)," he raps on the acoustic guitar-driven ballad.

Fans are loving SZA and Travis' collabo tune. Some people are freely admitting the song is leaving them an emotional wreck.

"SZA and Travis Scott did it again, they never miss together," wrote one fan.

Another person tweeted a photo of Barney slumped over and surrounded by several empty beer bottles. "Open arms is something else. I never expected that vibe from sza and travis," he wrote.

"Travis on that song w sza had me in tears [Loudly crying face emoji] so beautiful," tweeted another fan.

However, some people felt that Travis' verse wasn't needed on SZA's heartbreaking song.

"Sza is pouring her heart out in a song & here come Travis Scott talking about backshots… men will never be serious people," typed one disappointed listener.

SZA's album SOS is available now on all on digital streaming platforms.

INTRO:

When you do your best you ca—, I done told you

When you do your best, hell, that's all you can do

You and me and anybody else

So they always start talkin'

VERSE 1 (SZA):

I'm runnin' away from where I'm from

Never can stay with no one

Lovin' you almost feels like somethin'

When no one's around me

You lost and found me

I was surrounded

With open, open, open

CHORUS (SZA and Travis Scott):

Open arms (Ooh), open arms

You give me open, I'm so devoted

You keep me open (Ooh), open arms

I'm so devoted to you, to you, to you

VERSE 2 (SZA):

Spent your life bein' hopeless

Chokin' on insecurity

I know, oh, this is bad

But, please, put a leash on me anyway

Who needs self-esteem anyway?

I hate myself to make you stay

Push me away, I'll be right here (Here)

With open, open, open

CHORUS (SZA and Travis Scott):

Open arms (Ooh), open arms

You give me open, I'm so devoted

You keep me open (Ooh), open arms

I'm so devoted to you, to you, to you

VERSE 3 (Travis Scott):

No matter what come between us, yeah, I decided (Ayy)

I'm forever ridin' (Ride), you're forever guidin' (Ayy)

Pull up on an opp, hit his curve up, slidin' (Brr)

Notice when you mad, ain't no words, just silence (Ooh)

You my favorite color, now you seein' every shade of me

You say that I'm trippin', I hit back like, "Where you takin' me?"

Locked in for life, on God, no replacin' me

Consequences, repercussions, karma keep on changin' me (Ooh yeah)

For you I trust, face card, valid ID (Ooh)

C'est la vie, go to Paris, it ain't five-star, it ain't me

Over-solid, keep it concrete (Ahh), I'ma bet it on your whole fee

Just don't switch sides, I could buy a piece, your wrist AP (Ahh)

Through the ups and downs and all the heat

Take a turn and tell you what it be

Backshots make you feel relief, anythin', just don't you ever leave

OUTRO (SZA and Travis Scott):

I guess I gotta go (Ooh)

I guess it's time to go

I gotta let you go (I'm so devoted)

You keep me open (Ooh)

Gotta let you go, gotta let you go

I gotta let you go, I must

You're the only one that's holdin' me down (Ooh)

You're the only one holdin' me down (Ooh, only one)

'Cause I'm the only one that's holdin' me down

Saweetie is back and she's got something to say to her ex-boyfriends who like to kiss and tell.

On Friday (Nov. 18), Saweetie dropped her new single, "Don't Say Nothin'," from her just-released album, The Single Life. Produced by 1500 or Nothin, the bass-heavy, bouncy track features the Bay Area rapper blasting a big-mouth ex.

"That's what I get for kissin' on these frogs/He got mad and told my business to the blogs/Nigga, pause, I'm appalled, need to chill out," she raps on the song, adding, "Said he was a boss but he talkin' like a groupie/I knew he wasn't ready for this pretty bitch coochie."

Rumor has it that the "ICY" rhymer is addressing her former boyfriend Quavo and rumored lover Lil Baby on the song. To bring you up to speed, after Quavo and Saweetie broke up last year, there were rumors the "My Type" rapper and Lil Baby were dating after the My Turn rapper reportedly took her on a $100,000 shopping spree.

Quavo appeared to respond to the rumor with the Instagram Story post, "Ain't trippin we can swap it out!" Subsquently, Lil Baby may have referenced Qua and Saweetie on the It's Only Me tracks "Stand on It and "Not Finished."

In the end, Saweetie is taking no shorts and wants men to be quiet and stop being chatty patties.

Something told me not to trust this nigga
Now my business in the streets, I should punch this nigga
That shit wasn't bussin', I knew I shouldn't've fucked him (Don't you say a thing)
But his vibe was so moist

Sent over a car, I had no choice
Got to his estate and them gates opened up
Licked around my waist and my legs opened up

Drake and 21 Savage's new project Her Loss is arguably the most controversial and talked about album of 2022.

On Friday (Nov. 4), Drake and 21 Savage dropped their delayed album, Her Loss, which boasts 16 songs and a couple of surprise appearances from Travis Scott on "Rich Flex" and Birdman on "Middle of the Ocean." On the latter song, the Cash Money CEO appears on the outro delivering that boss talks like, "We up and we livin' like that, boy/Fresh fly fish like, you understand me, like, real G shit/You hear me? A neighborhood superstar."

But Drake is the standout on "Middle of the Ocean." Produced by Oz, Noel Cadastre, Nik D, Sucuki and Lo, the OVO Sound leader spits boastful bars and flossy punchlines for five minutes straight. The 6 God even name-drops billionaires he hobnobs with like New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. "Robert Kraft sent the jet for us, that shit was patriotic," he raps.

Elsewhere, Drake delivers a diss to husband Alexis Ohanian, the husband of retired tennis legend Serena Williams

“Sidebar Serena your husband is a groupie, he claim we don’t got a problem but no boo it is like you comin’ for sushi. We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki," he raps. "The fuck would y’all really do without me? For your birthday, your man got a table at Hibachi/Last time I ate there, Wayne was doin' numbers off the cup like Yahtzee."

Back in 2015, there were reports of Drizzy dating Serena and at one point rumors spread that they were engaged.

Drake being petty and talking that fly shit on "Middle of the Ocean" make for an interesting listen.

Check Out the Lyrics and Listen to Drake and 21 Savage's "Middle of the Ocean" Below

INTRO (Drake)"

Yeah
I'm in the Missoni room at the Byblos/
The boat was rockin' too much on some Aaliyah shit/
For real
We goin' from the Vava to Cinq on Cinq, then back to the Vava/
If you know, you know, baby, I don't, I don't know what to tell you/
Yeah
Ayy

VERSE 1 (Drake):
Look
Long way from sentimental
Meet Thomazzo and Ernesto
Short rigatoni with the pesto
These verses are my manifesto
Hallways got an echo
Me and Smigs on the loose in the city, you know how the rest go
Casual sex, I'm like, "Fuck a dress code"
The first martini is an espresso
Chill shot glasses with prosecco
Niggas so ignorant in our hood, they be like, "Why thе fuck you makin' techno?"
I'm worldwide and this is just another cargo jеt flow, I had to let go
Life insurance policies, you niggas 'bout to need the gecko
I got some meaner threats, though
Me, Spider-Man, and Leonardo, I'm back tomorrow
I had the chopper to a wedding out in Monaco or Monte Carlo
I'm losin' track of where we all go
I wouldn't trade my life for none of y'alls, it's an embargo
Fifty-nine bags on the 767, this is heavy cargo
Yeah
Fifty-nine bags on the—, ayy

VERSE 2 (Drake):

Swedish jail cell smellin' like some Carby Musk
For your birthday, your boyfriend got a party bus
Bottle signs, club lines, should've come with us
We left that shit in '09 when we was comin' up
I mean, these just my suggestions of course
I'm ridin' here fresh off divorce
And I'm tryna look in her eyes, maybe express my remorse
If she want a rebound with me, I'm down to go get her some boards
I'm here for the moral support
Whippin' the Vespa off of six tequilas
Big Benjamins like the Pittsburgh Steelers
Drake, you got it
Robert Kraft sent the jet for us, that shit was patriotic
You would think we live in Baltimore, the way they ravin' 'bout the latest product
Teachin' niggas how to mind they business, and my latest stuff
Might be the only teacher that gets paid enough
That's why I'm in Hyde Park buyin' like half of Harrods
You niggas are too concerned with makin' sure y'all outfits gon' match in Paris
If we don't like you, you payin' tax and tariffs
Come to the 6 and I'm like the actin' sheriff, deputy
First got to America, niggas wouldn't check for me
No chance the kid'll make it here like vasectomy
They underestimated my trajectory
But now they gotta pay that shit direct to me
I send the label bills, bills, bills like the other two women standing next to Bey, that shit was just—
Independent women is lovin' the new appearance
Matter of time before I go net a Bey like a Paris
Like, "Honey, you gotta know that I never wore Mike Amiris or never hopped in a Urus"
I got my head in the clouds, I'm serious
The lyrics begin to reveal themselves over time periods
Promise you'll get that shit when the sky clears
This shit designed for divine ears
My favorite two words from you white boys is, "Sign here"
And then comes the sound of glass clinkin' from a wine cheers
Swear I'm pocket checkin' y'all for five years
And then we 'bout to kick this shit in high gear
Eight karats like vegetarians, nigga, the earrings are droopy
Contract Lord of the Rings, think it's a script for the movie
Shout out TVGUCCI, my cousin is spooky
I swear you don't even mean what y'all say like y'all dubbin' a movie
Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie
He claim we don't got a problem but
No, boo, it is like you comin' for sushi
We might pop up on 'em at will like Suzuki
Kawasaki, sushi, saké, the money grow on trees like shiitake
They tried to get spicy with me, so I wonder how they gon' stop me
I'm really on a roll like hamachi
The fuck would y'all really do without me?
For your birthday, your man got a table at Hibachi
Last time I ate there, Wayne was doin' numbers off the cup like Yahtzee
And Paris Hilton was steady duckin' the paparazzi
Quavo might've sent me a song that he called "Versace"
I really can't remember it properly
All I know is that God got me, I'm sittin' on large properties
Treat me like a newborn, Lucian not droppin' me
I'm goin' Pink Floyd, you niggas cannot rock with me
She could be givin' me head and somehow you not toppin' me
Niggas see the 6ix God pass, they high-fivin' me
Need to be high-sixin' me
Swear niggas highkey sick of me
They wifey on my head 'cause I vibe differently
Feel like an AMBER Alert the way that I can take her to the mall and she find Tiffany
I'm like a cup holder the way that these dimes stick to me
They should've been in the fountain based on what y'all wishin' me

OUTRO (Birdman):

Know what I'm sayin'?
Yeah
Million-dollar spot (Brr, brr)
That's how motherfuckers in CMB play it
Middle of the ocean (Blatt)
Just like that (Shine, shine)
All dark fresh green water
Land that thing
With 'bout a hundred hoes
We up and we livin' like that, boy
Fresh fly fish like, you understand me, like, real G shit
You hear me? A neighborhood superstar
It's bigger than anything
You know, we start from the bottom, then we come to the top
Get to the top and we stay up there
You hear me? (Ball, ball, ball, ball, ball)
We look down and we'll be down, but we stayin' up
And we rise up, we stay on 'em, you heard me? (Ball, ball, ball, ball, ball)
Big Florida water, big water ocean
On that type of time
You understand me?
Rich nigga, rich life, you understand me?
Come from the bottom, but we come from the bottom (Rich life)
But we understand the bottom 'cause we come from it
And we live with it (You understand?)
Go to our grave 'bout this here, boy (Yeah, yeah, yeah)

Drake and 21 Savage's new Her Loss album is here and it has the whole internet talking.

On Friday (Nov. 4), after a week delay, the dynamic duo put out their highly anticipated joint LP, Her Loss, which features 16 songs including a sole guest appearance from Travis Scott. One of the songs that is initially getting a lot of feedback is the track "Circo Loco." Produced by Boi-1da and Tay Keith, the banger features progressing chords and booming bass, and finds Aubrey and the Slaughter King talking boss talk.

There are some lines in particular that have people talking. On the song, Drake and 21 Savage have one verse each, and Drake seems to address making amends with Kanye West for their Free Larry Hoover benefit concert performance in Chicago, which he claims in the song was only done to appease Rap-A-Lot's J Prince.

Elsewhere on the track, Drake appears to subliminally address the Megan Thee Stallion shooting in which Tory Lanez is accused of pulling the trigger. Drake infers in a roundabout way that the Houston rapper may be lying about the incident.

Take a look below at the lyrics and listen to "Circo Loco."

And I never been the one to go apologize
Me, I'd rather hit 'em up one more time
Aye, known a girl for six months, dinner up at my place
But I got these diamonds on my neck so it's a blind date
All my niggas on the roads raising up the crime rate
Your name not ringing out here, it's on vibrate
And she took a skull now shorty gotta hydrate
And he did some dirt now my crodie gotta migrate

Ice Spice's name and hit single "Munch (Feelin' U)" have been inescapable over the last two months. The neophyte Bronx, N.Y. rapper strikes while the iron is hot with her follow-up track "Bikini Bottom" on Friday (Oct. 28).

On the new track, Ice Spice taps in with Riot, the same beat maker behind her breakout song, who hooks her up with another fast-paced drill instrumental with punchy hi-hats and rumbling bass. The gregarious ginger rides the track with boastful bars.

Ice Spice has garnered lots of supporters and naysayers over the last couple of months. She is looking to raise her stock following backlash for recent lackluster live performances on multiple occasions.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again refuses to slow down in 2022, releasing his latest project, the DJ Drama-hosted mixtape Ma' I Got a Family, on Friday (Oct. 21). On his sixth project released on streaming services this year, NBA YoungBoy tapped Nicki Minaj on the new track "I Admit."

The new track is produced by Yung Lan and features YB and Nicki making a gangsta love song over rumbling bass and a smooth acoustic melody. This is the duo's second time collaborating on wax. In 2018, YB released a song titled "Nicki Minaj." Two years later, they would actually collaborate on the Mike WiLL Made-It track "What That Speed Bout!?"

Nicki Minaj appears to be prepping album five, following the release of her Billboard-topping single "Super Freaky Girl" in August. Since then, she's released the "Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix)," collaborated with Bleu on the track "Love in the Way" and was on the "Likkle Miss (The Fine Nine Remix)."

YB, on the other hand, hasn't stopped putting out music all year, beginning with the mixtape Colors in January. Just two weeks ago, he released the new mixtape 3800 Degrees. He recently teased delivering 10 projects before the end of 2022.

Check out the Lyrics to YoungBoy Never Broke Again's Nicki Minaj-Assisted Track "I Admit" Below

CHORUS (YoungBoy Never Broke Again):

Hit a walk straight, I ain't got no limp
Stand ten, it don't matter how hard it get

Tryin' hard for to slump, I'm gon' need no attempt
Steady keepin' my head, I'm on top of the rim
I been breathin' and dyin', she want me to live, yeah
She know I put this money aside and put it on (Woah-oh)
I would hate to see you run, I want you here with me now
And that was for the go

CHORUS (YoungBoy Never Broke Again):

Girl don't care 'bout who you fuck, she know I'm a gangster
I flash out bad, don't care who I hit, now, girl bring yo' ass here
You all mine, don't you let 'em get in your mind, baby (Ooh)
I miss you, got that, Ooh-ooh (Ooh-ooh)
And I like the way you do, ooh (You do, ooh)
And is you finna step? Oh, only if you knew

VERSE 2 (Nicki Minaj):

I know you slime, I know you ain't lackin', you violent
Them niggas ran down on yo' homie, now, you slidin'
If I don't pick up when you call, you gon' be wildin'
But, I just pray you make it home
Ayy, yo, and we still on that get-back
Poppin' chains, don't give shit back
Backshots get that grip back
Go down with yo' lick back
Real niggas don't play with a bad bitch, ain't finna risk that
Soon as I give into him, he finna get my name on his next tat'
Go against [?] in a suicide letter
Bitch wanna kill theyself and I let her
Soon as he say it's go-time, I get her
Told that bitch, 'Bow down,' when I met her
You a amateur hoe I'm in the league
Point-guard tongue out, look at the speed
I don't lick the rim on shots I all-net her
Jump-shot wetter, NBA better

CHORUS (YoungBoy Never Broke Again):

Girl don't care 'bout who you fuck, she know I'm a gangster
I flash out bad, don't care who I hit, now, girl bring yo' ass here
You all mine, don't you let 'em get in your mind, baby (Ooh)
I miss you, got that, Ooh-ooh (Ooh-ooh)
And I like the way you do, ooh (You do, ooh)
And is you finna step? Oh, only if you knew
Come make sure you spend some time at mine
Babygirl, you know I'm slime

Lil Baby's long-awaited new album, It's Only Me, has finally touched down, and the new LP from one of hip-hop's biggest stars features "Never Hating," his highly anticipated new track with Young Thug.

Lil Baby first teased the Wheezy Outta Here, SirFredo and Ele Beatz-produced track over the summer in a video shared on social media. Ever since, fans have been waiting on the song, which finds both rappers flexing about their status over a booming trap instrumental.

The latest collab from the Atlanta rappers follows them connecting on the tracks "Paid the Fine," from 2021's YSL compilation, Slime Language 2 ,and "We Should," from Baby's previous album, My Turn, in 2020.

On Monday (Oct. 10), Thugger jokingly threatened Lil Baby on Twitter, posting,  "Wham if you don’t drop in 3 days we ain’t bruddas 🍼."

Young Thug has been in jail since he was arrested for a huge RICO case in Atlanta in May. Also, YSL is accused of being a street gang responsible for several violent crimes.

Check Out the Lyrics to Lil Baby's New Track "Never Hating" Featuring Young Thug Below

VERSE 1 (Lil Baby):

Fresh like the first day of school on the weekend
I put that shit on today for no reason
Got something to smile ’bout I fixed up my teeth
Straight from the lot call up Herm get it geeked up
A thousand horse power my car gotta keep up
Act like I'm slow all the time but I peep stuff
What kid of guy let a bitch keep the beef up?
I let ’em live for a while now the lease up
Nail and a hammer I done built it from the ground up
Brodie said he working but the brick done went and down some
They handled the business I do not go around them
You can get 100 if you want ’em we got pound spots
I'm the one that's really having motion what they talmbout?
Cars I done did that, chains I don't need no mo'
So many clothes starting to feel like a hobo
Every milestone, tryna buy me a new home
Potholes keep on fuckin' up the Forgi's, take the rims off
The way she twist, she suck it like she tryna take the skin off
Bro ’nem in a striker, but it’s good, we swapped the VINS out
Don't bark up this tree, I make the chopper knock his limb off
Thousand dollar after every road, that’s what they hittin' for
All I do is fuck her, I done turned her to a nympho
F.N.'s, Black Outs, G 5s, G4s
Trippin' for the family, I don’t play about my kinfolk

CHORUS (Lil Baby):

I took the guys to L.A. for a business meeting
God watch my friends I can handle my enemies
Fuck I look like having smoke with my min-mes?
Niggas gotta be joking, you kidding' me?
Y'all real kids been small-time ballin', now it's real big
I was standing in the bleachers on some cheerin' shit
Never been a hater I don't care enough
This shit ain't gone stop until they bury us

VERSE 2 (Young Thug):

Fresh off the jet, I end up in the projects
See somethin' I like, no police, I'ma cop it
Don’t follow my page, I post racks every day
For these niggas and bitches that's countin' my pockets
Ooh, hurdle this bitch in Huaraches
Lambo', Ferrari, Bentleys, I got options
I took the private jet out to Nevada
4PF said they got smoke like a rasta
Trenches with me, something seem suspicious, something seeming fishy
I'm four pockets full and look like biscuits
Overprice us and we uppin', uppin'
Foh! Foh! Foh! This sound sound delicious
You can use the dishes in the kitchen cooking
Woop woop litty can't abort the mission
Bitch I got addictions don't do photo pictures
Keep it low and with me

CHORUS (Lil Baby):

I took the guys to L.A. for a business meeting
God watch my friends I can handle my enemies
Fuck I look like having smoke with my min-mes?
Niggas gotta be joking, you kidding' me?
Y'all real kids been small-time ballin', now it's real big
I was standing in the bleachers on some cheerin' shit
Never been a hater I don't care enough
This shit ain't gone stop until they bury us

Foresight is a powerful thing and back in 2016, XXL introduced its annual and coveted Freshman class. Fast forward to present day, rappers inducted that year such as Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black and Denzel Curry are still making marks in hip-hop with their rhymes, creativity, endorsement deals, philanthropy and much more.

All five of the aforementioned artists have landed on the Billboard chart, whether it was for a single or an album. As recently as October of last year, 21 Savage snagged the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart for his album Savage Mode 2 with producer Metro Boomin. Towards the top of last year, in March of 2020, Lil Uzi had similar success with Eternal Atake.

However, before their Billboard charting status and their many other accolades, these gentlemen were XXL Freshman spitting bars together. Check out the lyrics to their 2016 XXL Freshman Cypher below.

VERSE 1: Denzel Curry
Rest in power, it's all about power
Squeeze two lemons together and really all you'll have is sour
Diesel, niggas'll smoke your ass to have the juice
Riding around in an all black coupe
Couple of pigeons that's ready to shoot, shit
Ducking and bucking and dodging and dropping
With 48 ounces and cigarette butts
Fucking around with the up echelon
They will turn you to cubes and I hope you be gone
Envelope, overload, cranium overdose
Denny Cascade, what the fuck is the halves
Click clack, get powed, bitch, it's a wrap
Tierra my witness, I pray for a nap
Youngin' and restless, return with a past
Key in ignition, foot on the gas
None of you niggas is acting that jab
Gold teeth in the Glock and a Cybertech mask
Ring gun, particles, turn you into molecules
Planet shrooms, planet shrooms, I'll take you to my panic room

VERSE 2: Lil Uzi Vert and Kodak Black
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
All these niggas stealin' my style, can I get my flow back?
Yeah, bop on that bitch like Kodak
Yeah, bitch, you know that
Yeah, I push your shit all back (Woop, woop)
Told that bitch I got money, aye (Woop)
Countin' them hundreds, it's nothing, aye
Told that lil' bitch I got money, aye
Told that lil' bitch that's it nothing, aye (Skrrt, skrrt, tied)
Hit that bitch right from the back, she got turkey, I knock out that bitch like it's stuffing, yeah (Skrrt, skrrt, tied, okay!)
Told that lil' bitch that I'm with it
Told that lil' bitch that I'm with it
Aye, wait, 21, Lil Boat, yeah (Win)
Denzel Curry cut your throat, yeah (Yeah)
Kodak do the most, yeah (Win)
Told that lil' bitch I got all the money (Uh)
I swear this shit is just nothing (Uh)
I just be dancin' right up on that bitch, yeah
What you be stuntin'?

VERSE 3: Lil Yachty
That boy not gang, no, that boy not my friend
I hang with my gang, the same gang that felt all of my pain
When I was struggling through the rain
When I had no guap with no ice
Wasn't no food but rice
All of these bitches they want me but they get one night
Fuck ’em, I give a fuck what you sayin'
Bitch nigga know I ain't playing
I'm ’bout my fetty
Sailing Team armored, we ready
Fuck up that nigga if he talk out too heavy
I'm ’bout it, chains on my neck cost me twenty
Look at your diamonds
Your diamonds look cloudy, they fake
Young nigga in the Gucci Stans
Fuck with me if you wanna die
Young nigga, I don't wear no suit and ties
Fuck no
Lil Boat!

VERSE 4: 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty
21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21
I sent my bitch to the store ’cause we ran out of soda (What?)
Bitch, I'm tryna cook this yola (21)
Hundred round drum on the bottom of that shit (Do-do-do-do-do)
Chop a nigga down like a fucking lawnmower (Grrr)
AK-47 ’round my muthafuckin' shoulder (21)
Pull up in a Rover, then I pulled off on a Fisker
Pulled up on your bitch, she sucked my dick
And then you kissed her (Goddamn, 21)
Young Savage, bitch
And I don't play ’round with them swishers (Hmm?)
I just smoke them woods (Yeah)
Bitch, I'm from the hood (Yeah)
Zone 6, Bouldercrest Road, you can't go there
21 Gang, bitch, yeah (21, 21, 21)
I'm in NYC, I think I got a fucking show there (Yeah)
Hold up, Rollie on my wrist
Rollie on my bitch (What?), 30 on my waist (What?)
30 to your face (Yeah), 60 to your face (Yeah)
90 to your face (Yeah), that's a closed case (Yeah)
You an old nigga, man, you washed up
Young Savage, man, I got my car washed up
Pulled up on a muthafuckin' nigga, wrapped up (Yeah)
Then I pulled up in a muthafuckin' Brink's truck
21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21

VERSE 5: Kodak Black
Who the fuck picked this lil' sorry ass beat?
I'm from the ugly corner, man, them lil' sour ass streets
Damn, homie, I'm the one who let your starving ass eat
And you was hungry, I ain't have to let your sorry ass eat
My cousin G-Wayne got off of manslaughter last week
Gave my dog a buck fifty, that nigga brought me back three
I'm a—a nigga's broad and get up all in them cheeks
Tied, they dead flies

What's better than one 2020 XXL Freshman? Two. Rod Wave's Polo G-assisted track "Richer" is a standout from his SoulFly album, released last month. The Flynn Cranston and PlutoBrazy-constructed track rides on guitar-laden production with a heavy bass drum and mid-tempo 808s. The soft string instrumentals meshed with the rugged trap beat supports the two rappers' melodic bars.

In the "Heart on Ice" rhymer's typical fashion, Rod offers emotional crooning on the three-minute track, in which he and Polo look back on their respective journeys to stardom and celebrate where they are now.

"Richer" arrived as part of the Interscope Records signee's second studio album, SoulFly, which dropped on March 26 and landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart on April 4. The track saw its own success, debuting at No. 22 on the Hot 100 chart the same day the effort topped the 200 chart.

Check out the lyrics to Rod Wave's "Richer" featuring Polo G below.

INTRO: Rod Wave
The lotta fight I've been in
Ooh, ooh, mmm (Ayo, Pluto, you going brazy)

VERSE 1: Rod Wave
Niggas ain't gettin' no money, tell ’em quit that cappin' (Mmm)
Niggas ain't gettin' no money, tell ’em quit that cappin' (Mmm, yeah)
In this bitch relaxin', you ain't even did your taxes (Yeah)
We went triple platinum, Ion't wanna hear no naggin'
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, made it happen, uh, uh
Youngin' out that bottom, but he made it happen (Yeah)
I don't wanna make new friends, point me to my ends
Who he think he is in that brand new Benz?
They should've knew I was comin'
Since a lil' youngin', I knew I would get me somе money (Skrrt)
Know I turned nothing to something, I look at your cousin (Grr)
Thе youngin', 6 million and runnin'
And I promise to keep it one hunnid, keep it one hunnid
You see me grindin' and hustlin'
So, you got to respect me, fuck you, give me my check, please

PRE-CHORUS: Rod Wave
Youngin' chasin' dreams, reachin' for the stars (What else?)
Be all you can be, eat or you gon' starve (What else?)
A youngin' out that bottom, but he beat the odds (Yeah, yeah)
I ain't gon' lie, I had it hard (Yeah, yeah)

CHORUS: Rod Wave and Polo G
But now I'm richer than I've ever been (What else?)
I'm richer than I've ever been (Yeah)
I'm richer than I've ever been
I'm richer than I've ever been (Ever been)
He richer than he ever been (Oh, oh, oh)

VERSE 2: Polo G
I'm richer than ever, whippin' a Tesla, cars, hoes, et cetera
Hit him with pressure, my niggas won't let up
Tell them niggas to catch up, oh
Wake up, got a million in diamonds that sit on the dresser, oh
Run up that check, now I'm flexin' my muscles, I feel like a wrestler
’Cause we come from nothin' to Rollies and plaques
Fake love, it was holdin' him back
Flashbacks while he pourin' the yak
Since a young nigga, he just wanted a sack
Used to daydream ’bout thumbin' through racks
Heat tuck, it get cold in the ’Raq
Tears fall while he loadin' the strap
Seen it all, he just wanna relax, uh-uh
I'm richer than I ever been
Put my heart before the bag, worst shit I ever did
Gave you a second chance and you left again, uh
’Member days I used to wonder, "Would we ever win?"

Lil Tjay teamed up with Offset and Moneybagg Yo for his buzzing new joint "Run It Up," which appears on his recently released sophomore album, Destined 2 Win.

The Josh Petruccio-produced track showcases the three artists rhyming about blowing a bag on the lavish material items the rap star lifestyle often offers, such as foreign cars and blinged-out jewelry. The platinum-selling Bronx native has also dropped a visual for the record, which features both ’Set and Bagg, and arrived on the same day as the LP, April 2.

Take a look below to find the lyrics to Lil Tjay's "Run It Up" featuring Offset and Moneybagg Yo.

CHORUS: Lil Tjay and MoneyBagg Yo
Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up
Run it up, run it up, uh, ooh
Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up
Run it up, run it up, run it up
Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up
Run it up, run it up, run it up
I just stack up that money, I run it up
Give a fuck ’bout who love me, I run it up
What the fuck they gon' tell me? My money up
Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up (Go)

VERSE 3: MoneyBagg Yo
I been runnin' that money up, puttin' on (Go)
Ain't no end to this trend, it’s a marathon (Go)
Different breed, I might bust down a herringbone (Look)
Board a flight with them racks in my carry-on
Talkin' ’bout money, you know who to call (Bad)
It look like a riot, I fucked up the mall (Woah)
She diggin', have me and my whole circle, boss (Gang)
Gave me some top through my Ethika draws (Uh)
Earrings 150, I'm thuggin', I'm hood
I lock the screw back and put erasers on ’em (Ghetto)
Wide body Daytona, bending the corner
Them hitters ain't renters, the tag Arizona
Ain't get no diploma (No)
Shot dice for the J's, the freshest dude in the schoolhouse (Turn up for)
You ain't gangster, you went, took the smooth route (Been a ho)
Ran it up, now my pockets look too stout
Never enough, man, I gotta go get some more
Sold enough gas to go buy me a Texaco (Good petrol)
Now I'm on the charts, I'm runnin' up streams
My niggas still got what you need though (Go)
Built my name from the ground, I ain't have no help (No)
It's just me versus me, beefin' with myself (Bad)
It was time I woke ’em up, they overslept (Get up)
Run it up, run it up, still ain't out of breath (Go)

CHORUS: Lil Tjay
Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up
Run it up, run it up, run it up
Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up
Run it up, run it up, run it up
I just stack up that money, I run it up
Give a fuck ’bout who love me, I run it up
What the fuck they gon' tell me? My money up
Run it up, run it up, run it up, run it up

INTRO
Shout-out my nigga, Synco

CHORUS
Uh (Tuned up), copped a BMW, new deposit, I picked up another bag
Like fuck it, I'ma count while I'm in it
I hear planes flyin', crowds screamin', money counters, chains clangin'
Shit, I guess that's how it sound when you winnin'
I ain't jokin', do it sound like I'm kiddin'?
I been makin' like 2,000 a minute
So high up through the clouds, I was swimmin'
I'm probably gon' drown when I'm in it
I bet she gon' get loud when I'm in it
And we might have a child when I'm finished

VERSE 1
Uh, I won't love a ho, after we fuck, she can't get near me
Only bitch I give a conversation to is Siri
My pants Amiri, yes, I'm winnin', clearly
I'm the chosen one, seen my potential, so they fear me
Lately I've been prayin', God, I wonder, can you hear me?
Thinkin' ’bout the old me, I swear I miss you dearly
Stay down ’til you come up, I've been stickin' to that theory
Every day a battle, I'm exhausted and I'm weary
Make sure I smile in public, when alone, my eyes teary
I fought through it all, but that shit hurt me severely
I've been gettin' high to hide behind my insecurities
Takin' different pills, but I know it ain't gon'—

CHORUS
Uh, copped a BMW, new deposit, I picked up another bag
Like fuck it, I'ma count while I'm in it
I hear planes flyin', crowds screamin', money counters, chains clangin'
Shit, I guess that's how it sound when you winnin'
I ain't jokin', do it sound like I'm kiddin'?
I been makin' like 2,000 a minute
So high up through the clouds, I was swimmin'
I'm probably gon' drown when I'm in it
I bet she gon' get loud when I'm in it (Uh, uh)
And we might have a child when I'm finished

VERSE 2
They say I'm ’Pac rebirth, never put out a weak verse
Homicides when we lurk, I'ma step ’til my feet hurt
Weren't puttin' them streets first
White tees turned burgundy T-shirts
Lookin' for somethin' real, he stuck in a deep search
Anxiety killin' me, I just want to leave Earth
When they ask if I'm OK, it just make everything seem worse
Try and explain your feelings, sound like something you rehearsed
Stabbed me in my back with a clean smirk
Lookin' so deep into your eyes, I can read your thoughts, so
Shut the fuck…, I mean, please don't talk
I done been through too much and I don't need another loss
Put that on every war scar for every battle I fought

42 Dugg and Roddy Ricch's "4 Da Gang" is a hip-hop and rock and roll-infused masterpiece.

The newest joint from the two rappers was released on April 2 and samples the rock band Scorpions' 1982 single, "No One Like You." The TayTayMadeIt production strips the 39-year-old rock anthem to its heavy guitar string core before adding trap drums to fill out the entire track. On the new bop, Roddy and Dugg rhyme about all the lavish things in life—cars, jewelry and women.

On Feb. 21, "The Box" rapper and 42 Dugg were spotted filming a music video in Atlanta that was later interrupted by gunfire. It isn't confirmed that the visual being recorded at the time was for "4 Da Gang." However, it's plausible. Nonetheless, neither of the rhymers were harmed despite two other people sustaining injuries during the shooting incident and OMB Peezy being arrested for his alleged connection to the crime.

Check out the lyrics to "4 Da Gang" below.

INTRO: 42 Dugg
You
I can't wait for the nights with you
I imagine the things we'll do

VERSE 1: 42 Dugg
Ain't nothin' plain on me, nigga, four chains on me
I ain't trippin' ’bout that ho, nigga, she came on me
I got a bitch from the West, she'll suck a nigga soul
Bitch from the East, she'll fuck a nigga dawgs
Still playin' with that raw even though I got a deal
Had to get up out the city, I just got a nigga killed
Pause, I'm lyin', kinda, still sippin' out the Fanta
OxyContin and Opanas, I want four-two for each
Niggas upped Lou for free, that's my nigga, come and kick it
Mister still'll serve the city, I'm the reason it's some chicken
Why the fuck you in the kitchen tryna turn one?
Daire quit pullin' on the blender ’fore you burn somе
Baby say she want a real nigga, but she don't gеt it
Why you ain't never up at night? I told you I been sippin'
Still go harder for my niggas, wish I could bring you back
Turntest in the city, white lows, blue flags
Know I keep two flags on bang
I just dropped a Urus for the gang
Catch me in the city, young nigga, four chains
Signed to CMG, still in the dope game
I don't swipe propane, really got it out the mud
Big 4 Gang, catch me ridin' with the thugs
And I got it on my own, ain't nobody helped me
Remain humble, sell crack to dope fiends
You can't "Lil' bro" me, bitch, I really got a check
42 in this shit, I be really on that
Put the city on my back, still remember hard times
2018 was the year my dawg died

CHORUS: 42 Dugg & Roddy Ricch
Pull up in frog eyes, yeah nigga, we winning
Amiris on low, if not wheat Timbs
Me and 42 pullin' up, twin Bentleys
Peanut butter seats, all my windows tinted
Know I keep two flags on bang
I just dropped a Urus for the gang
Tied from the D to LA
Always keep it a hunnid K

VERSE 2: Roddy Ricch
Number one nigga, but they're never gon' admit it
I was doin' 200 in the ’Rari and got a ticket
Every time they see me, they say they ain't seen me in a minute
Probably fuckin' on your bitches, probably runnin' up the digits
Forgiato wheels, both lanes
Floor mats say a nigga name
Interrogation, feds tried to put us on the board, never identified
All my niggas always gettin' dough, it's always chicken time
I got niggas in the box, gon' call me collect
I got model bitches that be tryna call me for sex
And you know what they say, "If it ain't directed, then don't respect it"
You see ’em out in public, they gon' act like they never said it
I see by the C-side, I throw it up two times
And your nigga got a gangster card, he bought it off Groupon
One of the young niggas that be gettin' love in the city
From the hub to the dub in the tub, fuck with me

CHORUS: 42 Dugg & Roddy Ricch
Pull up in frog eyes, yeah nigga, we winning
Amiris on low, if not wheat Timbs
Me and 42 pullin' up, twin Bentleys
Peanut butter seats, all my windows tinted
Know I keep two flags on bang
I just dropped a Urus for the gang
Tied from the D to LA
Always keep it a hunnid K

Catch the vibe with me, get the feel with me, vibe with me

I said, "Hey, put your pride right to the side" (Yeah)
I can waste your time or I can change your life, I said now
Oh-oh-oh, shawty, where you goin'?
I just need one moment, so baby, keep your focus
I said, stay, stay, babe
Stay, stay with me
Stay, stay, babe
Please don't run away, please don't stray away

CHORUS: XXXTentacion and PnB Rock
Ooh-ooh-ooh, got you grindin' all on that

What we gon' do-ooh-ooh? I can barely keep control
Catch the vibe with me, get the feel with me, vibe with me
(Oh yeah)

VERSE 2: PnB Rock
Ooh-ooh-ooh (Yeah), I can barely keep control (Control)
When you're grindin' all on me, bitin' all on me
Girl, you take my soul, yeah (Yeah)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, you look like the girl of my dreams (Dreams)
My heart is on lock and the key (Key)
It's right in your pocket, you see
All sex, no stress (Stress)
I ain't tryna hold you back (Back)
Ice on, who bought you that? (Ice)
Don't want you to go out sad (Sad)
Girl, you know I'm fallin' for you (Yeah)
And girl, you know I'm all in for you (Yeah)
And I'm in love with you-ooh-ooh, everything you do-ooh-ooh

CHORUS: XXXTentacion
Ooh-ooh-ooh, got you grindin' all on that
Ridin' on that thang, make a young nigga eyes roll in my brain

Eminem's "Killshot" is a diss track for the history books.

Towards the end of summer 2018, Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem's feud came to a head in the form of an insult-ridden single titled "Killshot," which featured Em targeting MGK's rap-related shortcomings. This is also one of a few tracks Eminem dropped that takes aim at the Cleveland rhymer, who has reciprocated lyrical insults at Em as well. The Detroit rapper and MGK's beef seems to have stemmed from remarks Machine Gun Kelly made about Em's daughter, Hailie, via Twitter in 2012.

On "Killshot," Eminem devotes over four minutes to poking fun at MGK's "man bun" and lack of musical accolades. The beef surrounding the track, produced by IllaDaProducer, exudes through Slim Shady's lethal penmanship, making "Killshot" the biggest YouTube debut in 2018 with 38.1 million views in the first 24 hours of its release on the video-sharing platform.

"Killshot" also amassed success on music charts, specifically peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 on Sept. 29, 2018, earning Eminem his 20th top 10 song on the chart at the time.

Check out the lyrics to Eminem's "Killshot" below.

INTRO
You sound like a bitch, bitch
Shut the fuck up
When your fans become your haters
You done?
Fuckin' beard's weird
Alright
You yellin' at the mic, fuckin' weird beard (You want smoke)
We doin' this once
You yellin' at the mic, your beard's weird
Why you yell at the mic? (Illa)

VERSE
Rihanna just hit me on a text
Last night I left hickeys on her neck
Wait, you just dissed me? I'm perplexed
Insult me in a line, compliment me on the next
Damn, I'm really sorry you want me to have a heart attack
Was watchin' 8 Mile on my NordicTrack
Realized I forgot to call you back
Here's that autograph for your daughter, I wrote it on a Starter cap
Stan, Stan, son
Listen, man, Dad isn't mad
But how you gonna name yourself after a damn gun
And have a man bun?
The giant's woke, eyes open, undeniable
Supplyin' smoke, got the fire stoked
Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me
I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze
Your reply got the crowd yelling, "Woo!"
So before you die let's see who can out-petty who
With your corny lines ("Slim, you're old")—ow, Kelly, ooh
But I'm 45 and I'm still outselling you
By 29, I had three albums that had blew
Now let's talk about somethin' I don't really do
Go in someone's daughter's mouth stealin' food
But you're a fuckin' mole hill
Now I'ma make a mountain out of you, woo!
Ho, chill, actin' like you put the chrome barrel to my bone marrow
Gunner? Bitch, you ain't a bow and arrow
Say you'll run up on me like a phone bill, sprayin' lead (Brrt)
Playin' dead, that's the only time you hold still (Hold up)
Are you eating cereal or oatmeal?
What the fuck's in the bowl, milk? Wheaties or Cheerios?
’Cause I'm takin' a shit in ’em, Kelly, I need reading material
Dictionary
"Yo, Slim, your last four albums sucked
Go back to Recovery," Oh shoot, that was three albums ago
What do you know? Oops
Know your facts before you come at me, lil' goof
Luxury, oh, you broke, bitch? Yeah, I had enough money in ’02
To burn it in front of you, ho
Younger me? No, you the wack me, it's funny, but so true
I'd rather be 80-year-old me than 20-year-old you
’Til I'm hitting old age
Still can fill a whole page with a 10-year-old's rage
Got more fans than you in your own city, lil' kiddy, go play
Feel like I'm babysitting Lil Tay
Got the Diddy OK so you spent your whole day
Shootin' a video just to fuckin' dig your own grave
Got you at your own wake, I'm the billy goat
You ain't never made a list next to no Biggie, no Jay
Next to Taylor Swift and that Iggy ho, you about to really blow
Kelly, they'll be putting your name
Next to Ja, next to Benzino—die, muthafucka!
Like the last muthafucka sayin' Hailie in vain
Alien brain, you Satanist (Yeah)
My biggest flops are your greatest hits
The game's mine again and ain't nothin' changed but the locks
So before I slay this bitch I, mwah, give Jade a kiss
Gotta wake up Labor Day to this (The fuck?)
Bein' rich-shamed by some prick usin' my name for clickbait
In a state of bliss ’cause I said his goddamn name
Now I gotta cock back, aim
Yeah, bitch, pop Champagne to this! (Pop)
It's your moment
This is it, as big as you're gonna get, so enjoy it
Had to give you a career to destroy it
Lethal injection
Go to sleep six-feet deep, I'll give you a B for the effort
But if I was 3-foot, 11
You'd look up to me, and for the record
You would suck a dick to fuckin' be me for a second
Lick a ballsack to get on my channel
Give your life to be as solidified
This muthafuckin' shit is like Rambo when he's out of bullets
So what good is a fuckin' machine gun when it's outta ammo?
Had enough of this tatted-up mumble rapper
How the fuck can him and I battle?
He'll have to fuck Kim in my flannel
I'll give him my sandals
’Cause he knows, long as I'm Shady he's gon' have to live in my shadow
Exhausting, letting off on my offspring
Lick a gun barrel, bitch, get off me!
You dance around it like a sombrero, we can all see
You're fuckin' salty
’Cause Young Gerald's balls-deep inside of Halsey
Your red sweater, your black leather
You dress better, I rap better
That a death threat or a love letter?
Little white toothpick
Thinks it's over a pic, I just don't like you, prick
Thanks for dissing me
Now I had an excuse on the mic to write "Not Alike"
But really I don't care who's in the right
But you're losin' the fight you picked
Who else want it? Kells, attempt fails! Budden, L's!
Fuckin' nails in these coffins as soft as Cottonelle
Killshot, I will not fail, I'm with the Doc still
But this idiot's boss pops pills and tells him he's got skills
But, Kells, the day you put out a hit's the day Diddy admits
That he put the hit out that got ’Pac killed, ah!
I'm sick of you bein' wack
And still usin' that muthafuckin' Auto-Tune
So let's talk about it (Let's talk about it)
I'm sick of your mumble rap mouth
Need to get the cock up out it
Before we can even talk about it (Talk about it)
I'm sick of your blond hair and earrings
Just 'cause you look in the mirror and think
That you're Marshall Mathers (Marshall Mathers)
Don't mean you are, and you're not about it
So just leave my dick in your mouth and keep my daughter out it

Eminem's nearly 20-year-old song, "Without Me," shows the more braggadocious side of the Detroit-bred rapper. The track, which appears on Em's fourth studio album, The Eminem Show, also peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 back on June 29, 2002. The record also appeared on the Suicide Squad soundtrack.

The Grammy Award-winning song (Record of the Year in 2003), is five minutes of pretentious free-flow rhymes, in which Eminem places himself at the center of everyone's universe while expounding on his self-proclaimed importance to the industry and the rap game.

"Without Me" is the second single from The Eminem Show.

Check out Eminem's lyrics to "Without Me" below.

INTRO: Obie Trice
Obie Trice! Real name, no gimmicks (record scratch)

REFRAIN 1: Eminem
Two trailer park girls go ’round the outside
’Round the outside, ’round the outside
Two trailer park girls go 'round the outside
’Round the outside, ’round the outside

REFRAIN 2
Guess who's back, back again
Shady's back, tell a friend
Guess who's back, guess who's back
Guess who's back, guess who's back
Guess who's back, guess who's back
Guess who's back

VERSE 1
I've created a monster, ’cause nobody wants to
See Marshall no more, they want Shady, I'm chopped liver
Well, if you want Shady, this is what I'll give ya
A little bit of weed mixed with some hard liquor
Some vodka that'll jump start my heart quicker
Than a shock when I get shocked at the hospital
By the doctor when I'm not co-operating
When I'm rocking the table while he's operating (Hey!)
You waited this long, now stop debating
’Cause I'm back, I'm on the rag and ovulating
I know that you got a job, Ms. Cheney
But your husband's heart problem's complicating
So the FCC won't let me be
Or let me be me, so let me see
They try to shut me down on MTV
But it feels so empty without me
So, come on and dip, bum on your lips
Fuck that! Cum on your lips and some on your tits
And get ready, ’cause this shit's about to get heavy
I just settled all my lawsuits—fuck you, Debbie!

CHORUS
Now this looks like a job for me
So everybody, just follow me
’Cause we need a little controversy
’Cause it feels so empty without me
I said this looks like a job for me
So everybody, just follow me
’Cause we need a little controversy
’Cause it feels so empty without me

VERSE 2
Little hellions, kids feeling rebellious
Embarrassed their parents still listen to Elvis
They start feeling like prisoners helpless
’Til someone comes along on a mission and yells, "Bitch!"
A visionary, vision is scary
Could start a revolution, polluting the airwaves
A rebel, so just let me revel and bask
In the fact that I got everyone kissing my ass (smack)
And it's a disaster, such a catastrophe
For you to see so damn much of my ass—you asked for me?
Well, I'm back, na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Fix your bent antenna, tune it in, and then I'm gonna
Enter in, and up under your skin like a splinter
The center of attention, back for the winter
I'm interesting, the best thing since wrestling
Infesting in your kid's ears and nesting
Testing, "Attention please"
Feel the tension soon as someone mentions me
Here's my ten cents, my two cents is free
A nuisance, who sent? You sent for me?

CHORUS
Now this looks like a job for me
So everybody, just follow me
’Cause we need a little controversy
’Cause it feels so empty without me
I said this looks like a job for me
So everybody, just follow me
’Cause we need a little controversy
’Cause it feels so empty without me

VERSE 3
A tisk-it a task-it, I'll go tit for tat with
Anybody who's talking "this shit, that shit"
Chris Kirkpatrick, you can get your ass kicked
Worse than them little Limp Bizkit bastards
And Moby? You can get stomped by Obie
You thirty-six-year-old baldheaded fag, blow me
You don't know me, you're too old, let go
It's over, nobody listens to techno
Now let's go, just give me the signal
I'll be there with a whole list full of new insults
I've been dope, suspenseful with a pencil
Ever since Prince turned himself into a symbol
But sometimes the shit just seems
Everybody only wants to discuss me
So this must mean I'm disgusting
But it's just me, I'm just obscene
Though I'm not the first king of controversy
I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley
To do black music so selfishly
And use it to get myself wealthy (Hey!)
There's a concept that works
Twenty million other white rappers emerge
But no matter how many fish in the sea
It'd be so empty without me

CHORUS
Now this looks like a job for me
So everybody, just follow me
’Cause we need a little controversy
’Cause it feels so empty without me
I said this looks like a job for me
So everybody, just follow me
’Cause we need a little controversy
’Cause it feels so empty without me

The Notorious B.I.G. dropped his classic record "Juicy" back in August of 1994. Sampled from old school R&B and funk artist Mtume's "Juicy Fruit," the track appears on Biggie's debut album, Ready to Die. Diddy, CEO of Bad Boy Records, the label B.I.G. was signed to before his tragic death in 1997, and Total, who was signed to the label as well, both added a sultry and flavorful element to the track.

Biggie Smalls' rags-to-riches story about living in the poverty-stricken streets of Brooklyn, N.Y., selling drugs and providing for his family to later living a life of luxury peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 on Nov. 5, 1994.

Diddy alongside Poke of production duo Trackmasters produced the hit song.

To all the teachers that told me I'd never amount to nothin'
To all the people that lived above the buildings that I was hustlin' in front of
Called the police on me when I was just tryin' to make some money to feed my daughter (it's all good)
And all the niggas in the struggle
You know what I'm sayin'? It's all good, baby, baby

VERSE 1: The Notorious B.I.G.
It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up! magazine
Salt-n-Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl
I let my tape rock ’til my tape popped
Smokin' weed in Bambú, sippin' on Private Stock
Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack
With the hat to match
Remember Rappin' Duke? Duh-ha, duh-ha
You never thought that hip-hop would take it this far
Now I'm in the limelight ’cause I rhyme tight
Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade
Born sinner, the opposite of a winner
Remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner
Peace to Ron G, Brucie B, Kid Capri
Funkmaster Flex, Lovebug Starski
I'm blowin' up like you thought I would
Call the crib, same number, same hood, it's all good
And if you don't know, now you know, nigga

CHORUS: Total & Diddy
You know very well (Yeah)
Who you are (Money, hoes and clothes)
Don't let ’em hold you down (Bankrolls, yeah, haha)
Reach for the stars (It's all good)
You had a goal (C'mon)
But not that many (It's all good)
'Cause you're the only one
I'll give you good and plenty (Check it)

VERSE 2: The Notorious B.I.G.
I made the change from a common thief
To up close and personal with Robin Leach
And I'm far from cheap, I smoke skunk with my peeps all day
Spread love, it's the Brooklyn way
The Moët and Alizé keep me pissy, girls used to diss me
Now they write letters 'cause they miss me
I never thought it could happen, this rapping stuff
I was too used to packing gats and stuff
Now honeys play me close like butter play toast
From the Mississippi down to the East Coast
Condos in Queens, indo for weeks
Sold out seats to hear Biggie Smalls speak
Living life without fear
Puttin' five karats in my baby girl ear
Lunches, brunches, interviews by the pool
Considered a fool 'cause I dropped out of high school
Stereotypes of a black male misunderstood
And it's still all good
And if you don't know, now you know, nigga

CHORUS: Total and Diddy
You know very well (C'mon)
Who you are (Bankrolls)
Don't let ’em hold you down (Clothes)
Reach for the stars (Mansions)
You had a goal
But not that many (It's all good)
'Cause you're the only one
I'll give you good and plenty ('94)

VERSE 3: The Notorious B.I.G.
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
When I was dead broke, man, I couldn't picture this
50-inch screen, money-green leather sofa
Got two rides, a limousine with a chauffeur
Phone bill about two G's flat
No need to worry, my accountant handles that
And my whole crew is loungin'
Celebrating every day, no more public housin'
Thinkin' back on my one-room shack
Now my mom pimps an Ac' with minks on her back
And she loves to show me off of course
Smiles every time my face is up in The Source
We used to fuss when the landlord dissed us
No heat, wonder why Christmas missed us
Birthdays was the worst days
Now we sip Champagne when we thirsty
Uh, damn right I like the life I live
’Cause I went from negative to positive and it's all (It's all good, nigga)
And if you don't know, now you know, nigga

CHORUS: Total, The Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy
You know very well (Money)
Who you are (Hoes and clothes)
Don't let ’em hold you down (Bankrolls)
And if you don't know, now you know, nigga
Reach for the stars (That's right)
You had a goal (It's all good)
But not that many (All good)
’Cause you're the only one (East coast, represent)
I'll give you good and plenty (C'mon)
And if you don't know, now you know, nigga

POST-CHORUS: The Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy
Representin' B-Town in the house (Biggie Smalls)
Junior Mafia, mad flavor (Bad Boy)
Uh, uh, yeah, aight (I see you, Cooch)

CHORUS: Total
You know very well
Who you are
Don't let 'em hold you down
Reach for the stars
You had a goal
But not that many
'Cause you're the only one
I'll give you good and plenty

OUTRO: Diddy and Total
Biggie Smalls, it's all good, nigga
Junior Mafia, it's all good, nigga
Bad Boy, it's all good, nigga
It's all good
That's right, '94
And on and on, and on and on
You know very well
It's all good
Who you are
Yeah
Don't let ’em hold you down
Reach for the stars

Tupac Shakur's "Changes" arrived posthumously in 1998, two years after his tragic death in Las Vegas on Sept. 13, 1996. The track, which features Talent, appears on Tupac's Greatest Hits album and represents socioeconomic struggles for Black America. The socially conscious anthem peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 on Jan. 23, 1999.

On the song, which is equal parts heartfelt and heartbreaking, Tupac also debates the suicidal thoughts he has about the conditions of politics and society that affect the Black community—especially Black men. With bars placed over soulful piano keys, while Talent holds down the melodic chorus, the California-bred rapper delivers the perfect song to sum up the times on subject matter that is still relevant over 20 years later.

Fast forward to 2021, "Changes" has integrated itself into the meme culture on TikTok with the well-known bar "I see no changes" marking the comedic lack of progression within the government, relationships and body goals.

Check out the lyrics to Tupac Shakur's "Changes" below.

INTRO: Talent
Ooh, yeah (Ooh)
(Come on, come on)

VERSE 1: Tupac Shakur
I see no changes, wake up in the morning and I ask myself
Is life worth livin'? Should I blast myself?
I'm tired of bein' poor and, even worse, I'm Black
My stomach hurts so I'm lookin' for a purse to snatch
Cops give a damn about a negro
Pull the trigger, kill a nigga, he's a hero
"Give the crack to the kids, who the hell cares?
One less hungry mouth on the welfare"
First ship ’em dope and let ’em deal to brothers
Give ’em guns, step back, watch ’em kill each other
"It's time to fight back," that's what Huey said
Two shots in the dark, now Huey's dead
I got love for my brother
But we can never go nowhere unless we share with each other
We gotta start makin' changes
Learn to see me as a brother instead of two distant strangers
And that's how it's supposed to be
How can the Devil take a brother if he's close to me? Uh
I'd love to go back to when we played as kids
But things change, and that's the way it is

CHORUS: Talent
(Come on, come on)
That's just the way it is (Changes)
Things will never be the same
That's just the way it is (That's the way it is, what?)
Aww, yeah, yeah (Hear me)
(Oh my, oh my, come on, come on)
That's just the way it is (That's just the way it is, the way it is)
Things will never be the same
(Never be the same, yeah, yeah, yeah, aww, yeah)
That's just the way it is (Way it is)
Aww, yeah (Come on, come on)

VERSE 2: Tupac Shakur & Talent
I see no changes, all I see is racist faces
Misplaced hate makes disgrace to races
We under, I wonder what it takes to make this
One better place, let's erase the wasted
Take the evil out the people, they'll be actin' right
’Cause both Black and White are smokin' crack tonight
And the only time we chill is when we kill each other (Kill each other)
It takes skill to be real, time to heal each other
And although it seems heaven-sent
We ain't ready to see a Black president, uh (Oh, ooh)
It ain't a secret, don't conceal the fact
The penitentiary's packed and it's filled with Blacks
But some things will never change (Never change)
Try to show another way, but you stayin' in the dope game (Ooh)
Now tell me, what's a mother to do?
Bein' real don't appeal to the brother in you (Yeah)
You gotta operate the easy way
"I made a G today," but you made it in a sleazy way
Sellin' crack to the kids (Oh, oh), "I gotta get paid" (Oh)
Well, hey, well that's the way it is

CHROUS: Talent
(Come on, come on)
That's just the way it is (Changes)
Things will never be the same
That's just the way it is (That's the way it is, what?)
Aww, yeah (Hear me)
(Oh my, oh my, come on, come on)
That's just the way it is (That's just the way it is, the way it is)
Things will never be the same
(Never be the same, yeah, yeah, yeah, aww, yeah)
That's just the way it is (Way it is)
Aww, yeah (Aww, yeah, aww, yeah)

INTERLUDE: Tupac Shakur
We gotta make a change
It's time for us as a people to start makin' some changes
Let's change the way we eat
Let's change the way we live
And let's change the way we treat each other
You see, the old way wasn't workin'
So it's on us to do what we gotta do to survive

VERSE 3: Tupac Shakur & Talent
And still I see no changes, can't a brother get a little peace?
It's war on the streets and the war in the Middle East (Ooh, yeah)
Instead of war on poverty
They got a war on drugs so the police can bother me
And I ain't never did a crime I ain't have to do
But now I'm back with the facts, givin' it back to you (Ooh)
Don't let ’em jack you up, back you up
Crack you up and pimp-smack you up
You gotta learn to hold your own
They get jealous when they see you with your mobile phone
But tell the cops they can't touch this
I don't trust this, when they try to rush, I bust this
That's the sound of my tool, you say it ain't cool
My mama didn't raise no fool (Oh)
And as long as I stay Black, I gotta stay strapped
And I never get to lay back
'Cause I always got to worry ’bout the payback
Some buck that I roughed up way back
Comin' back after all these years
"Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat," that's the way it is

CHORUS: Talent & Tupac Shakur
(Uh)
That's just the way it is (Just the way it is, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Things will never be the same (Yeah)
That's just the way it is (The way it is)
Aww, yeah (Some things will never change, oh my)
(I'm tryna make a change)
(You're my brother, you're my sister, yeah)
That's just the way it is (The way it is, the way it is)
Things will never be the same (You're my brother, you're my sister)
That's just the way it is, aww, yeah
Some things'll never change

Long before OutKast's "Hey Ya!" was the go-to song on the rhythm game series, Just Dance, it was the first single to be released from André 3000's half of the Atlanta duo's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below album in September of 2003.

For three minutes straight, the ATLien croons over fast-paced and jubilant guitar strums, which helped to secure the rap group a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 on Dec. 13, 2003. The effort remained on the chart for 39 weeks. Following the song's success and Three Stacks insisting everyone should "shake it like a Polaroid picture," the camera company proceeded to issue a statement reminding users that shaking Polaroid photos can actually distort the image.

Check out the lyrics to OutKast's "Hey Ya!" below.

INTRO
One, two, three, uh!

VERSE 1
My baby don't mess around
Because she loves me so, and this I know for sure (Uh)
But does she really wanna
But can't stand to see me walk out the door? (Ah)
Don't try to fight the feeling
’Cause the thought alone is killing me right now (Uh)
Thank God for Mom and Dad
For sticking two together ’cause we don't know how (C'mon)

CHORUS
Hey ya! Hey ya!
Hey ya! Hey ya!
Hey ya! Hey ya!
Hey ya! Hey ya!

VERSE 2
You think you've got it, oh, you think you've got it
But "got it" just don't get it ’til there's nothing at all (Ah!)
We get together, oh, we get together
But separate's always better when there's feelings involved (Ah)
If what they say is "Nothing is forever"
Then what makes, then what makes, then what makes
Then what makes, what makes, what makes love the exception?
So why oh, why oh, why oh, why oh, why oh
Are we so in denial when we know we're not happy here?
Y'all don't wanna hear me, you just wanna dance

CHORUS
Hey ya! (Uh-oh) Hey ya! (Uh-oh)
Don't want to meet your daddy
Hey ya! (Uh-oh)
Just want you in my Caddy (Uh-oh)
Hey ya! (Uh-oh)
Don't want to meet your mama (Uh-oh)
Hey ya! Uh-oh
Just want to make you cumma (Uh-oh)
Hey ya! Uh-oh
I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm just being honest (Uh-oh)
Hey ya!
I'm just being honest

BRIDGE
Hey, alright now, alright now, fellas (Yeah?)
Now, what's cooler than being cool? (Ice Cold!)
I can't hear ya
I say what's, what's cooler than being cool? (Ice Cold!)
Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright
Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright
OK now, ladies (Yeah?)
Now, we gon' break this thing down in just a few seconds
Now don't have me break this thing down for nothing
Now I want to see y'all on your baddest behavior
Lend me some sugar, I am your neighbor
Ah, here we go!

REFRAIN
Shake it, sh-shake it, shake it, sh-shake it (Uh-oh)
Shake it, sh-shake it, Shake it, shake it, sh-shake it (Uh-oh)
Shake it like a Polaroid picture, hey ya!
Shake it, sh-shake it, shake it, sh-shake it
Shake it, shake it (OK), shake it, sugar
Shake it like a Polaroid picture

BRIDGE
Now all the Beyoncés and Lucy Lius
And baby dolls, get on the floor
You know what to do, oh, you know what to do
You know what to do

CHORUS
Hey ya! (Uh-oh) Hey ya! (Uh-oh)
Hey ya! (Uh-oh) Hey ya! (Uh-oh, hey ya!)
Hey ya! (Uh-oh) Hey ya! (Oh, oh, uh-oh)
Hey ya! (Uh-oh) Hey ya! (Uh-oh)

In the spring of 2017, Kendrick Lamar released "Humble.," the first single off his Grammy Award-winning, Pultizer Prize-winning album, Damn. The Pluss & Mike WiLL Made-It produced track features a fired-up Kung Fu Kenny showing off his lyrical skills and recalling times of "syrup sandwiches and crime allowances" for nearly three-minutes straight.

"Humble." peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on April 22, 2017 and was on the chart for 30 weeks. The record has also surpassed platinum status, according to the RIAA, and was certified seven-times platinum on May 25, 2018.

However, despite the success of the single, it was not without its faults after facing feminist backlash over the controversial line, "I'm so fucking sick and tired of the Photoshop/Show me something natural like afro on Richard Pryor/Show me something natural like ass with some stretch marks."

Four years since the release of "Humble.," this track still remains highly regarded in K-Dot's discography.

Check out the lyrics to Kendrick Lamar's "Humble." below.

Girl, I can buy your ass the world with my paystub
Ooh, that pussy good, won't you sit it on my taste bloods?
I get way too petty once you let me do the extras
Pull up on your block, then break it down, we playin' Tetris
AM to the PM, PM to the AM, funk
Piss out your per diem, you just gotta hate ’em, funk
If I quit your BM, I still ride Mercedes funk
If I quit this season, I still be the greatest funk
My left stroke just went viral
Right stroke put lil' baby in a spiral
Soprano C, we like to keep it on a high note
It's levels to it, you and I know

VERSE 2
Who that nigga thinkin' that he frontin' on Man-Man? (Man-Man)
Get the fuck off my stage, I'm the Sandman (Sandman)
Get the fuck off my dick, that ain't right
I make a play fucking up your whole life
I'm so fuckin' sick and tired of the Photoshop
Show me somethin' natural like afro on Richard Pryor
Show me somethin' natural like ass with some stretch marks
Still will take you down right on your mama's couch in Polo socks
Aye, this shit way too crazy, aye, you do not amaze me, aye
I blew cool from AC, aye, Obama just paged me, aye
I don't fabricate it, aye, most of y'all be fakin', aye
I stay modest 'bout it, aye, she elaborate it, aye
This that Grey Poupon, that Evian, that TED Talk, aye
Watch my soul speak, you let the meds talk, aye
If I kill a nigga, it won't be the alcohol, aye
I'm the realest nigga after all

The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," which appears on his massively successful, Billboard 200 No. 1-selling After Hours album, first arrived in November of 2019. The track is the second single from the effort and was No. 1 in 34 countries including the U.S. and Canada, where The Weeknd is from. "Blinding Lights" is Abel's fifth song to peak at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on April 4, 2020. However, the song has spent 66 weeks on the chart.

Despite the success of "Blinding Lights," it did not receive any acknowledgement from the Recording Academy this year for the 2021 Grammy Awards, which in turn prompted The Weeknd to reveal that he'll be boycotting the Grammys every year. After he failed to receive a nomination for "Blinding Lights" or After Hours, the crooner called out the awards show and its overseers, demanding transparency for his fans and the music industry.

During the summer of 2019—June 20, 2019 to be exact—Lil Nas X followed up his Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, "Old Town Road," with his second single, "Panini." The Dot Da Genius and Take a Daytrip-produced track, which appears on his debut project, 7, only peaked at No. 24 on the Hot 100, but stayed on the chart for 10 weeks.

The catchy, upbeat tune was inspired by the Cartoon Network show Chowder—specifically the main character, Panini, who is a cabbit (half rabbit, half cat). Other facts about the song include that it's the first offering Lil Nas X made in an actual studio, unlike "Old Town Road," which he said was neither mixed nor mastered.

Check out the lyrics to "Panini" below.

D-D-Daytrip took it to 10 (Hey)

VERSE 1
Aye, Panini, don't you be a meanie
Thought you wanted me to go up
Why you tryna keep me teeny? I
It's a dream, he wished it on a genie
I got fans finally, ain't you wanting them to see me? I

Now they need me, number one on streaming
Oh yeah, you used to love me
So what happened, what's the meaning? I

REFRAIN
I thought you want this for my life, for my life
Said you wanted to see me thrive, you lied

Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" had an impressive run in 2019, breaking unthinkable Billboard Hot 100 records. The track, which arrived via Columbia Records in December of 2018, debuted at No. 83 in March of 2019. However, it wasn't long before "Old Town Road" snagged the top spot on the chart in April of 2019, and remained there for 19 consecutive weeks. You read that right, 19 weeks.

"Old Town Road" was remixed several times as well, with the first alternate version featuring country music legend Billy Ray Cyrus. In August of 2019, Lil Nas X's Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping reign came to an abrupt end after he was bested by Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy." Nas X's undeniable hit was pushed to the No. 2 spot.

XXXTentacion offered "Revenge," initially titled "Garette's Revenge," on May 18, 2017 via Soundcloud. The track, which was also the lead single from XXX's debut studio album, 17, was dedicated to the rapper's friend, Jocelyn Flores, who committed suicide prior to the song officially being released.

About a week before "Revenge" dropped, it was previewed on Twitter by Flores. On the Soundcloud description for the song, X penned a tribute to Flores, which said, "rest in peace, jocelyn, I will have my revenge upon the world."

"Revenge" peaked at No. 77 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on Sept. 6, 2017.

INTRO
I think I, I think I finally
Found a way to forgive myself
From mistakes I made in my past
I think that's the first step, right?
You agree?

VERSE
I've dug two graves for us, my dear
Can't pretend that I was perfect, leavin' you in fear
Oh, man, what a world, the things I hear
If I could act on my revenge, then, oh, would I?
Some kill, some steal, some break your heart
And you thought that I would let it go and let you walk
Well broken hearts break bones, so break up fast
And I don't wanna let it go, so in my grave I'll rot
I've dug two graves for us, my dear
Can't pretend that I was perfect, leavin' you in fear
Oh, man, what a world, the things I hear
If I could act on my revenge, then, oh, would I?
Some kill, some steal, some break your heart
And you thought that I would let it go and let you walk
Broken hearts break bones, so break up fast
And I don't wanna let it go, so in my grave I'll rot

CHORUS
In my grave, I'll rot
In my grave, I'll rot
In my grave, I'll rot-ot-ot
In my grave, I'll rot
In my grave, I'll rot-ot-ot
In my grave, I'll rot
